Chapter 2 - The Survey Corps

I've finished this chapter earlier than I expected. I hope I can update the next one in a few days as I did with the second part. Well, enjoy it.

(Y/N)'s POV

3 years had passed and we stood in front of the commanders. Mike, Hanji and I became unseparable friends. I also learnt everything about first aid, how to take care of sick and injured people. Unfortunately I wasn't on the ranking's first place. Mike was the training corps' best, Hanji was the second one and I was on the third place.

"Now, you have to decide where you want to join. You can choose the Garrison regiment who has to repair the wall and take care the defense for the walls. Their commander is Dott Pixis. You also can join to the Survey Corps. They are the ones who go outside the walls. They have to take back humanity's territory. Keith Shadis is the scout regiment's commander. And finally the Military police. Only the top 10 can join. They are the king's personal guards and they also have to keep the peace behind the walls. It was an honour to work with you. Good luck in your future." Erik finished his speech then Keith Shadis stepped towards us and said.
"As Erik Brown training officer said I am the commander of the Survey Corps. We want to defeat the titans and take back the land what was ours one hundred year ago. Our job includes the death of our friends and being eaten by titans. Those cadets who want to join to the scout regiment stay here and the others can leave." Shadis finished his sentence and almost everyone left. "I respect your bravery. Give your heart for the freedom of the humanity!" He said the last part louder than the other ones. We all saluted and I felt happiness." Tomorrow we will go to the HQ. We will leave the camp at 10 o'clock. You are dismissed." He said and everybody left.

"Yahoooo!!!! We made it!!" Hanji exclaimed next to me.
"Hanji! I won't hear anything from now!" I yelled at her while rubbing my ears.
"Sorry I'm just so excited. We're part of the survey corps it's so cool!" She said while jumping like a child.
"Yeah, but we still have to stay alive outside. The walls won't protect us." Mike commented.
"I hope we'll be in the same squad. Then we'll be able to protect each other." I answered with a slight smile.
"Which one of you is (Y/N)?" We turned around and saluted immediately as we saw the person who asked us. It was Shadis.
"It's me, Sir." I said.
"At easy. Your training officer told me a lot about you. I'm happy to have a professional doctor in the regiment." He said. I stood there surprised because I had no clue about that he had already known about my skills.
"Thank you, Sir." I said still with wide eyes.
" Write me a list which contains the supplies that you will need on the expeditions to treat the soldiers."
Shadis told to me.
"Yes, Sir." I replied and he left after we saluted.
"He's just said a compliment to you." Hanji said in amazement but Mike just nodded as he usually does." A lot of success has happened with us today I guess we should celebrate a little. I purloined some wine from Brown." She said with a mischievous smile. Hanji started to pull us towards a hidden place of the camp.

Hanji drank more than Mike and me. So about 30 minutes later she laid down and fell asleep on the ground.
"We should bring her back to your room." Mike said and picked her up and did as he said. When we reached our room Mike put Hanji down on her bed. "Good night, (Y/N)." He said
"Good night to you as well." I replied him with a smile and he left.

I took a paper, a pen and started to write the list, what Shadis asked.
-gauze dressing
-medicines
- alcohol to clean the wounds
... (Ect)

When a finished with the listing I went to bed and fell asleep.
