Chapter 7 - New members

(Y/N)'s POV

Next morning our little team met with the military police who told us the plan.
"So this is the plan. Don't get in our way." I rolled my eyes at the statement. In fact I wanted to mock them but Mike cleared his throat to stop me.
"We'll do everything to catch them." Erwin repelied but it was clear that he had already enough of them just like the other two squad leaders.

We went to our hiding spot. We were ready for the action when suddenly we heard a man yelling.
"It's them again! Someone call the military police!" This sentence was our sign. We used our 3DMGs to get near to them. 'So this is the band? Interesting...' I thought as we were chasing them. There were two man and a woman in that group.The girl had brown hair and she was wearing an orange shirt. One of the boys had blond hair. He was wearing a white shirt with a grey vest. The other one had black hair and he was wearing a white shirt with a brown vest.
"The military police? Haven't they learnt their lesson?" I heard the girl ask her friends. I knew the situation was surious but I had to share her point about those bastards. " What I've just said was cool, right? She asked excitedly although she looked a little bit overconfident.
"Don't be stupid." The male with black hair commented. "Farlan, Isabel! You know, right?" They both nodded. They tried with a trick to get rid of us. The military police wasn't in this game anymore but our team got closer to them. The band was shocked except the male with black hair. He was just simply annoyed.

They tried with another trick but this time they just wanted to figure out who we were. They discussed their plan and Isabel went to the right and Farlan to the left. We got our signs as well. I went after the girl, Hanji chased Fralan, Mike and Erwin followed their leader.

I was chasing her between the houses. She tried to escape but I used a bit more gas, so I was fast enuogh to get closer and cut her cord. She was about to hit the ground but I caught her and put a handcuff on Isabel.
"Let me go you bastard!!" She yelled and tried to run away.
"Unfortunately I can't. Come on. Let's meet the others." I replied calmly and started to lead her where the others were. She was trying to kick me while we were on our way.

"(Y/N)! Are you alright? Do you need any help?" I saw Hanji with Farlan.
"No thanks. What about you?" I looked at them.
"No, we're besties with Farlan." She said with a smirk.
"So you betr-... Just calm down! You won't go anywhere!" I was talking to Hanji when Isabel wanted to escape. Again...

Soon we saw our two other friends. The black haired male tried to cut Mike but Erwin stoped him and said something which made the band's leader stop. He got a handcuff as well.
"Are you alright?" Hanji and I asked them in the same time.
"Yes. You both did well too." Erwin said.

They were on their knees while the blonde squad leader started to speak.
"I have a few questions. Where did you get this?" Erwin asked and held up a 3DMG. Non of them responded. "Where did you learn to how to use it?" There wasn't any reply. "Were you part of the military?" Erwin's questions were still useless. Everyone could see the hatred on the band  leader's face."You are thinking about how to kill us and escape with your friends. Right?" Then Erwin said then looked at Mike and both of them nodded. Then Mike took the man's head and hit it into the ground. His face landed in a pound. "I will ask one more time. Where did you learn to use it?"
"We learnt it by ourselves." Farlan said.
"That's impossible." I said.
"No, it isn't!" Isabel nearly yelled at me.  Erwin looked at me with a sceptical look but I just shrugged my shoulders. He looked back at the black haired person.
"My name is Erwin Smith. What is your name?" He asked. He still kept his mouth shut. Erwin looked at Hanji and me then nodded. We grabbed Isabel's and Farlan's hair. We were ready to do the same thing with them like Mike did with the leader. He look even more furious than before but he finally answered.
"I'm Levi."
"Well Levi. You have two options. Join the survey corps and fight for the humanity or go with the military police, but I don't think they'll treat you and your friends kindly after your crimes." Levi thought a little.
"We'll join to the scouts." He replied.

On the way back we had two carrage. One of them was used by Erwin, Hanji and me, and the other one was used by Isabel, Farlan, Levi and Mike.
" They said they figured out how to use the gears by themselves. Do you believe them?" I asked Erwin.
"They are stubborn. I think they have every skill to do it." He said.
"Awesome..." I muttered. Erwin raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Any problem?"
"Yes. I don't trust them. Levi tried to kill Mike. And who knows what else they're planning." I answered.
"You're too negative. That knife was smaller than a sword." Hanji said.
"But it still could cause a fatal injury." I argued.
"I can see your point but from now they are part of the survey corps." I leaned back, crossed my arms and looked out of the window. Erwin put a hand on my leg. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen." He said with a kind smile. I looked back at him and took his hand in mine. Hanji had a wide smile on her face as she saw this view.
"I believe you but if they hurt you, Hanji or Mike then they'll answer to me."

On the rest of the way we had fairly calm conversations. However I still couldn't agree with Erwin but I know he always choose the best option for the humanity and the scouts.
