There's a Baby in the Woods

    "WAIT!" she shrieked as the giant lifted her to his mouth, "THERE'S A BABY GIANT IN THE WOODS!"

    The giant man paused. "What?"

    "I was out, and I found a baby alone in the woods. I only came here to get someone to save the kid." she sputtered.

    "Oh shit," he muttered.

    "Jesus christ. You're a terrible dad." the human woman named Flora huffed.

    "You're a terrible mom," the giant man named Rob countered.

    "I'm not the kid's mother," Flora snapped.

    "I'm not her father either." 

    Rob was trying his best to calm down the crying baby, but nothing was working.

    "Lift me up," Flora ordered Robert.

    Rob begrudgingly offered Flora a hand to clamber into. He lifted her in front of the baby's face.

    "Hi princess Pearl!" Flora cooed to the baby. 

    Pearl was the name they agreed upon until they got her real name. They were both taking care of her until the authorities tracked down her real parents. Giants didn't have foster homes or anything since giants rarely have kids they don't want. Giant reproduction isn't really pleasurable, so normally giants who have kids went through the process because they wanted kids.

    Flora covered her eyes with her hands, and then revealed them. "Peekaboo!" She repeated the process until the crying died down a little.

    "Princess!" Flora exclaimed, "Pretty, little princess! You're so pretty! Hi! Hi, princess!"

    Eventually, the crying died down, and she started making random, excited noises.

    "For a human, you're not half bad...with her," Rob admitted.

    "Thanks, asshole." She rolled her eyes but continued to make faces for the baby. "For a giant, you are half bad, but the other half is decent."

    "Ya know, you've already taught me everything I need to know about taking care of a baby, so I don't need you anymore," he grumbled.

    She snorted. "Go ahead then. Eat me. Good luck when the hormones start up and she gets her period."
