44: Raven's Call

She had watched as they fought the abomination. She watched him as he sifted through the ash of the beast that once was. She followed as they fled back to Mistral. Now, she watches and waits on a tree branch outside of hospital room. Sam lays unconscious still, but he'll be like that for a couple hours. 

Y/N walks to the side of the bed, and says something before leaving. Raven waits for Y/N to exit, so she can follow him. 

After several minutes, Y/N finally leaves the hospital and begins to head home. 

Timeskip

Y/N unlocks the front door and enters with a smile. The sound of footsteps rushing down the stairs greet him. Amanda turns and sprints at him full speed. She jumps into his arms as they embrace one another.

"On a dime," he says. "Just like I said."

Amanda responses by hugging tighter.

"Welcome back, Y/N." 

Y/N and Amanda pull away from each other, much to their dismay. 

"Thanks for the welcome, Hazel." Y/N says. "Now if you 2 will excuse me, I'm gonna go take a shower."

Y/N heads up the stairs leaving the 2 women by themselves. From outside, Raven watches with disgust. 

"Love is pathetic and a weakness," Raven thinks to herself. "He will learn this the hard way soon enough."

Timeskip

Y/N exits the bathroom in a regular white T, black shorts, and grey socks. An amazing smell greets him, and leads him out of the room and down the stairs. The fragrance seemed to be coming from the kitchen. He walks to and enters the kitchen. Hazel and Amanda are cooking something amazing, but Y/N can't see what it is.

"What're you 2 cooking?" Y/N asks

"Dinner," they say in unison  

"Could you tell me what it is?"

"It's a surprise dear," Hazel tells him

"Ah, alright then. Well, I'll be in the living room."

Y/N exits the kitchen and walks to the center of the living room. He takes out the large sniper and places it on the floor. 

"Vale, give me my torn up brown cloak." Y/N asks

"What for?"

"I'm going to give this gun some covering," he simply responded

With that, his old torn up brown cloak appeared next to him in a flurry of sky blue particles. For next 15-20 minutes, Y/N took pieces from his old cloak, and sewed up as best he could. Once it was sewed he put it on the elongated barrel of the sniper. And for the finishing touch, he put on some red beads he happen to have.
