[Discontinued] Sorrow's Road (Abused Male Reader X RWBY)

Y/N sits at a Ramen shop eating some spicy ramen. He came down to the Tower after his nap in orbit, and was feeling a little hungry. Figured he try some of that spicy ramen Cayde brought up.

"Hey Vale, could you pull up the Ishtar Collective when we get back to orbit?" He asks.

"Sure." She answers. Short and sweet.

"Thank you." He says.

Y/N quickly finishes his bowl of, amazing, spicy ramen and gets up to leave. He heads to the courtyard and finds his ship hanging out in the back. Y/N runs up to it and is transmatted in. He returns to orbit, and Vale brings up the Ishtar Collective; like he asked.

Y/N looks through the Collective and comes across a file. A file with the name, "Dredgen Yor." Something about this name allured him. Y/N opens the file and gets to reading about the Infamous Murderer.

He learns about the man it all started with. Reyzl Azzir. A man who stood tall. Whose aura burned bright and who held a Rose in his hand. He learned of the many deeds that Azzir did. He learned of how Azzir wanted protect a people who were on the brink.

Y/N learns of the tragic fall of Rezyl. His pride leading him down the Road of Sorrow. His corruption at the hands of Xyor, the Betrothed. His 'evolution' into the being known as Dredgen Yor. Y/N continued to learn of the horrid deeds of Dredgen Yor and his eventual death at the hands of Shin Malphur.

The corruption of Rezyl made Y/N think of how he almost fell to temptation. Y/N takes out his cannon and look at it. It's funny. They both had Roses, but his didn't fully lose its petals. And it that truth, he knows it can't be called Rose anymore. Any attempts at naming it are insufficient. Maybe he'll come up with something later.

"Y/N, I got a message from Eris." Vale announces.

"Oh? What did she say?" He asks.

"She wants us to go search for something in the Hellmouth. Something called a Cryptoglyph." Vale tells him.

"Alright. Take us the Moon." He says.
