It was about a week after that little incident. Carmon ran off about a day after that. Luckily she can't go over Heath's house because the man whore is in jail. Also, his house has tons of caution signs around it. The police are searching this whole house. No one is allowed to enter the house, according to what they said on the news.

Rena has been hiding out at the college lately. She won't give us information on how she contacted the police. She'll talk to us about anything else besides that. It was strange. Maybe she thought that we would go against her or something, but why would I go against her for saving our friends?

For saving us?

Jana finally came back home from her gig, but it ended at like three in the fucking morning. Once she came home, she laid down and just stayed in the bed. She didn't go to anymore gigs, didn't go to her day job, or anything. She just slept in the bed and cuddled to herself.

Tiffany's been at hiding out at the school and at her job for once! She finally has a damn job. She's actually been working there for about a month now and stayed out of everyone else's business. The downfall is that she's been avoiding us at all costs. In my mind, I think she wants us to believe that she never told Carmon about who snitched on Heath. She's not making herself look good.

I said all of this to say that the apartment has been quiet. No one has really been talking to anyone and it's been peaceful. There was no bickering, fighting, or anything else. It felt really nice to just be in a space where it was just calm.

So I decided to pick up painting again. Painting used to be a hobby for me when I was in middle school but stopped when I was dating Leo. Ever since Jana came into my life, she's been encouraging me to paint. She says that's when I'm the happiest and she's right. The strokes from the paintbrush calm me down and it helps me create something beautiful.

Way back when, I just didn't have the energy or the inspiration to paint. There was so much going on and I just couldn't focus after that. Fears of Jana leaving me, cheating on me, possibilities of Leo coming back into my life, finding a steady job, dealing with the drama going on between the girls, and family issues just took that inspiration away. There's always something that tries to stop you at something you're really good at, right?

About three days ago, I started painting landscapes. Mostly, it was islands. The inspiration came from my need to go on a nice island vacation. I pictured the beautiful exotic flowers and trees that surrounded the island, the amazing sand, the clear blue water, and everything else that came with a beautiful island. This should be just a trip for myself. Something to take me away from all of this unnecessary drama and stress. Jana wouldn't care about me being gone anyhow.
