I looked over myself fixing my jeans, I really didn't wanna get too dressy considering I was just going sight seeing and right back home.
I just really wanted to get out of the house, I've been so consumed with moving myself in that I haven't had time to enjoy the city and since I start work tomorrow today was perfect to do so .

"Should I just Uber? Or do I Uber to Starbucks, and then walk the rest of the way?" I contemplated scrunching up my lips
"Yeaaaa, I ain't walking 6 blocks in pumps." I laughed paying for my Uber

I grabbed my purse, stuffing my lipgloss inside along with a few other things just to give it some weight.
I hated carrying around purses that were empty, is gave me a little anxiety strangely.

Stuffing my money in my bra, I grabbed my keys before switching off all the lights. Locking the door behind me, I exited my building.
" Hello, how are you." My driver smiled as I stepped inside the backseat
I looked at my door making sure it wasn't on child lock, it wasn't . I normally never take Uber because I know how dangerous it is now a days.
But I know being in New York, having a car would be so pointless with traffic.
"Hi I'm good, how about you?" I returned the gesture closing my door
"Good, pretty tired but I'll live." Chuckling he pulled off
The car ride was pretty silent, besides him making small talk about traffic, food places, and his friends.
"Well it was nice meeting you ma'am, enjoy your day!" He said pulling up to the curb
"Thankyou so much, enjoy your day also. Go get you some rest!" I laughed pointing
