Abby was walking around the Porter house, making sure all the decorations were perfect. Well, she was more waddling than walking. See, Abby was currently 8 months pregnant with her and her husband, Kevin Porter Jr.'s, daughter.

Today, they were throwing a baby shower with all their friends. Abby just wanted to make sure everything was in order since the guest were arriving in two hours. Unfortunately, their families couldn't make it to Cleveland, so it was just some close friends.

Kevin walks out to the backyard where his wife was currently trying to set up a table by herself. He walks up to her to stop her. "Babe," he says. "Don't worry about that, I got it." He grabs the table decorations from her hands.

Abby gives him a look. "Baby," she whines. "It's okay. I got it. You just fill the coolers up."

He looks back at her. "I know you do," he starts, "but you heard what the doctor said, you need your rest."

Abby hasn't had the best pregnancy, so far. She's had a couple miscarriage scares, almost went into stress-induced labor a couple weeks ago, and has fainted a couple times as well. As a result of all that, her OBGYN told her she needed to get as much rest as possible until their baby girl was born. But she hasn't been doing that lately, especially since Kevin was always out of town for his games.

Abby sighs and looks at him. "Are you sure you can handle this?" she asks him.

He chuckles at her. "Yes, I'm sure, babe. Go sit and relax."

She nods and walks back inside to go upstairs. She walks past the room that was gonna be the baby's but stops. She smiles and walks inside the pink room. She looks around as she puts her hands on her stomach. "Daddy and I can't wait to meet you, baby," she says. "But how did we finish decorating your room before picking your name? And you're due in less than a month."

~2 hours later~

The baby shower was in full swing. Abby and Kevin were walking around and greeting guests, taking pictures, etc. No one was able to keep their hands off Abby's belly. The Porter baby was one big fetus.

Abby was currently talking to Larry Nance Jr.'s wife, Haily. "So, how are you doing?" Haily asks. "Are you getting enough rest?"

Abby sighs and rubs her belly as she smiles. "Yes, I am," she says. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. My doctor says I'll be able to deliver the baby safely."

Haily smiles at her. "That's good at least," she says. "Have you guys picked a name, yet?"

"Not yet," Abby says. "We finished decorating the room before we even picked her name." She shakes her head as Haily laughs.

Kevin was on the other side of the backyard refilling the coolers as he argues with Darius Garland. "Bro, what I keep tellin' you?" he says sternly. "The alcohol stays separate from the soda and water. It's why I got two coolers." He shakes his head at his teammate.

Darius gives him a look as he takes the beer bottles and White Claws from the soda cooler. "My bad, man," he says as he puts them in the respected cooler. "You alright, Porter? You been on edge since Abby's near labor a couple weeks ago."

Kevin sighs. "I just want everything to be perfect for Abby," he admits as he slams the cooler shut. He then takes a seat on the diving board near the pool in the backyard. "She hasn't had the best pregnancy, and I want something to go right for her."

Darius smiles sadly at him as he takes a seat next to his teammate. "Hey," he says. "It's all good, man. But look," he points at Abby laughing and talking with her friends, "she's having fun."
