In Sickness and In Health-Christian Yelich

They don't know what's going on. C was fine yesterday. Now, all of a sudden she was feeling chills. However, she kept insisting that she was fine while Christian thought otherwise. 

Christian looks at C with a concerned look on his face as she felt chills again. "Are you sure you're okay, babe?" he asks her. "Cuz I seriously think it's COVID." They both took COVID very seriously and have been monitoring all their symptoms since the pandemic started. 

C shakes her head and reassures him. "Chris, I promise I'm fine," she says. "And chills can be any number of things. I'm probably just adjusting to the weather." 

Christian sighs and nods. "Okay, but if you don't feel well, you would tell me, right?" 

C smiles reassuringly. "Yes, Christian. Don't worry, okay?" She rubs his cheek with her hand. "It's probably just allergies." 

Christian smiles at her. "Alright, baby." They meet for a quick kiss before he pulls her into a hug. 

~The Next Day~

C still woke up with chills. However, this morning, what came along with it was a cough that led to a sore throat from all the coughing. Christian gets even more concerned. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asks her. "C, I think we need to go get tested." 

C sighs. "Alright, we can get tested, but I seriously don't think that it's COVID." She lets out a few coughs. 

Christian feels a small sense of relief. "Alright, I'll call the team doctor to bring the tests over." He pulls his phone out and gives the doctor a call. 

The doctor arrived a few hours later with the tests, wearing a face shield, masks, gloves, and scrubs. She looks at them as they get settled. "Okay, you guys," she starts. "So, you know how this works. I'll swab your mouth, and then, I'll swab your nose." They got tested before the season started back up and have been tested a few times after that. "And make sure to not shut your eyes so tightly, or else I won't get an actual result." (A/N-I've been tested for COVID four times, and this is exactly what they told me. And if you feel like you need to get tested, please, do so. It's better to be safe than sorry)

They nod at her, and she goes ahead and gets started. Christian went first, then C. Once the doctor got their swabs, she puts their tests in two separate hazard bags. "Okay, so, the results should come in either tomorrow or in a couple of days. If either of you test positive, please quarantine. And if you both test negative, then I suggest that you go see a doctor about your symptoms, okay?" 

They nod and smile at her. "Thanks, Doc," Christian says, leading her out. Once she leaves, he looks at C. "Do you wanna schedule a doctors appointment just in case it's not COVID?" he asks her. 

C shakes her head. "Let's just wait until the results come back," she replies, letting out a few coughs after. 

Christian nods. "Okay." He looks at her with a concerned look on his face. "Do you want some tea?" 

C's cough calms down as she nods at him. "Yes, please." 

Christian immediately walks into the kitchen to make her some tea, putting some lemon and honey in it for her throat. He comes back to the living room a few minutes later as C was settling onto the couch with a throw blanket over her lap. He hands her the cup. "Here you go, baby."

C smiles at him as she takes the glass from him. "Thank you, love." She takes a sip, feeling the warmth sooth her throat a little bit. 

Christian sits next to her and puts his hand on her thigh. "You sure you're okay, mamas?"
