for CLUELESSBELLA

It was Micheal and Bella's wedding day-the day they've been waiting for their whole lives. Being best friends since childhood and having dated since high school, Michael finally asked her to marry him.

They were planning a Spring wedding after the COVID vaccine was announced, but the vaccine hadn't been fully distributed to the public, yet. So, they decided to finally have the wedding in the summer during the off-season and required every guest to be vaccinated. If the guests refused to get vaccinated, then they weren't allowed at the wedding. Luckily, everyone followed their requirements and got the vaccine.

Michael was currently waiting at the end of the aisle, taking deep breaths as he waited for Bella. His best man, Jamal, puts his hand on his shoulder. "You alright, man?" he asks.

Michael nods at him. "Yeah," he replies. "I've been waiting for this day since high school. I'm just a little nervous."

Jamal rubs his shoulder. "Don't be, alright? She said 'yes', and now, she's gonna say, 'I do'. You were the same way when you asked her to marry you."

Michael laughs as he thinks about that moment. "Yeah. I was so nervous, I almost dropped the ring in the snow cuz my hands were so sweaty." They laugh at the memory as the music starts playing.

Everyone stands up to wait for the bride. The doors open, and the bridal party walks in first. Michael takes another deep breath, smiling at the bridesmaids walking past. Then, Bella walks up to the door, wearing the white dress and looking like a goddess. She links her arm with her father's, and they start walking down the aisle.

That's when all the emotions start hitting Michael. He feels so many emotions, his eyes filled with tears. He lets out a big exhale as the tears fall down his face. Jamal rubs his shoulder again as the other groomsmen start teasing him.

Bella feels her tears coming as well as she walks down the aisle with her dad. She kept her eyes on Michael the whole time. Her dad leans down to her. "I know me and him got off on the wrong foot when you guys started dating, but one thing's for sure," he says.

Bella looks up at him. "What's that, dad?" she asks.

Her dad smiles at her. "He makes you happy. That's all I could ever want for you, sweetie."

Bella smiles at him. "Thank you, daddy."

They reach the end of the aisle, and he kisses Bella's cheek before giving her away to Michael. She holds Michael's hands in hers as tears brim her eyes. "Hi," she lets out.

Michael sniffles a little bit. "Hi," he replies, rubbing the back of her hands. Then, the ceremony starts.

The officiant, who was Michael's uncle, said his speech. Now, it was time for the vows. "The bride and groom have prepared their own vows," the officiant says. He looks at Michael. "Michael, you may start our vows."

Michael takes a deep breath as he pulls out his note card. "Bells, I don't think I've ever loved someone as much as I love you. Every time I think of this day, I always think back to junior prom. It was a few months after we started dating. I remember when we were dancing, and I told you that I was gonna make you my wife. You almost didn't believe me. Look where we are now. We went from me kissing your cheek on the playground to here-standing at the aisle, about to say 'I do'." He stops and sniffles as tears start falling. "I don't think I've ever felt so lucky to be standing here with you. I've never felt so lucky to be able to call you my wife. I love you so much, Bella. Here's to a lifetime with you." He reaches up and wipes Bella's tears away as everyone applauds him.
