Haley was always into sports growing up. She played volleyball and soccer and is now pursuing a career in sports medicine. She had been offered an amazing opportunity to be an intern for the Miami Heat's athletic trainer.

Today was her first day. Haley wanted to fit the job description, even though it was an internship. She put on a white cropped and black Nike yogas, paired with whiter Nike Free RNs. She did some light makeup and pulled her hair back into a ponytail.

Haley pulls up to the practice facility and parks right in front. She gets out, grabbing her phone and backpack, and walks up to the door. She goes to touch the door handle, but someone was also grabbing it at the same time. She blushes as she pulls her hand back. "Oh, sorry," she says.

The guy shakes his head. "No, no," he says. He looks at her and is almost taken aback. "Um, it's my bad."

Haley giggles and shakes her head. "It's okay." She recognized him but didn't wanna act upon it.

The guy opens the door for her. "After you."

She smiles at him. "Thank you." She walks in, and he follows her.

"I'm Duncan, by the way," he says.

Of course, Haley already knew that. She smiled back at him as she shakes his hand. "I'm Haley," she replies.

Duncan smiles at her. "So, are you a new trainer, reporter, someone's daughter? Please, don't say someone's daughter."

Haley laughs at him. "Well, I'm actually not someone's daughter." They laugh at her words. "I'm Jay's new intern. Actually, I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for Jay's office."

Duncan nods and points out his office. "Here we are." They laugh at themselves.

Haley looks up at him. "Thank you. I, uh, I'll see you around."

Duncan had a smile on his face as he looks at her. "Yeah, see ya."

With that, they go their separate ways. "Haley," Duncan mumbles to himself as he walks to the practice court.

He gets to the currently empty court and stretches himself out. Once he was done, he hears someone call him. "Yo, Jimmy Neutron!"

Duncan rolls his eyes. "Very funny, Ty," he says, earning a laugh from Tyler.

Tyler starts stretching himself. "Did you hear Jay got a new intern?" he mentions.

Duncan nods as he grabs a ball to take some shots. "I just met her," he says.

Tyler stands straight up again, looking interested. "Is she cute?"

Duncan gives him a dirty look. "You have a girlfriend!"

Tyler gives him the same dirty look. "I'm not interested. I'm just asking so I can tell you whether or not to make a move."

Duncan raises his eyebrow at him. "Whether or not I should make a move?"

Tyler ignores him. "Answer my question."

Duncan looks defeated. "Fine. Yes, she's cute." Correction: she's fucking fine. "And I'll make a move when I want to."

Tyler looks at him as he finishes his stretches. "You chickened out, didn't you?"

Duncan tries to play it off but fails. "Yeah." He feels ashamed.

Tyler shakes his head at him. "She was standing right there, and you didn't ask for her number? At least I made a move."

Duncan looks confused as he holds the ball on his hip. "Didn't she kiss you first?"
