I wasn't the only one who got surprised by Fourth's words. Napatingin din sa kanya si Tracer pagkatapos nyang sabihin iyon. His eyebrows were furrowed. Mukhang hindi nya rin inaasahan ang sinabi ni Fourth kahit pa alam kong gustong-gusto nyang mahanap ang kapatid nya.
L was shocked and angry at the same time. Humigpit ang kapit nya sa kamay ko. His face was stoic but his eyes showed me anger. Palagi kong inoobserbahan ang emosyon nya kaya alam kong may galit din syang nararamdaman ngayon habang nakatingin kay Fourth.
The only one who doesn't seem surprised was Aius. Nakahalukipkip lang sya habang nakatayo sa gilid ni Fourth. Siguro ay iyon ang napagkasunduan nila nang magtinginan sila ni Fourth kanina.
Inaasahan ko na rin naman ang ganitong bagay pero nagulat pa rin ako. I am at their hideout. Nahuli nila ako at siguradong hindi nila palalagpasin ang makakuha ng impormasyon sa akin. But the way Fourth said those words was degrading. He said it like he was really disgusted. And he even mentioned that a traitor is a rat.
Na mga peste lamang ang nagta-traydor.
"What are you talking about?" L asked at kahit na tunog tamad na naman ang boses nya ay galit pa rin naman ang mga mata.
Fourth smiled. Habang tumatagal ay unti-unti na akong naiinis sa ngiti nyang iyon. I unconsciously tapped my pockets to search for a lollipop pero wala akong nakapa. Gusto kong pakalmahin ang sarili ko.
"I want her to betray her team." Fourth said like it was just an easy thing. "She is a tracker. We can find Shielder if she'll help us."
Napatingin sa akin si Tracer. Mukhang nakuha ang ipinupunto ni Fourth.
"Alter's skills could surpassed you both." Fourth said na itinuro si L at Tracer. "The three of you will be powerful if you work together."
"I get it." Tracer said. "We couldn't get in before 'cause she put up a very strong firewall to block our access. That's why it was so hard for us to get any information about the Red Faction."
Fourth nodded then looked at me. "All you have to do is to help L and Tracer to bypass the firewall and security that you built. Then we could start searching where Shielder is."
I get their point. Ang gusto nilang gawin ko is to help them hack the insides of our hideout. All the CCTVs and my computers, gusto nilang magkapasok doon. So we would be able to find their Rook. Dahil bawat isa sa mga members ng Red Faction ay ginawan ko ng security and firewall. All their gadgets. Kahit ang tracker na sinusuot nila tuwing may misyon ay ako lang ang mayroong access doon.
But as much as I want to help them, there's still a problem.
"It's impossible." I said as I shook my head. "I know I created the codes but I could only break the firewall using my own computers. It's risky. Kapag may na-detect ang system na may gustong pumasok na unauthorized access and bypass the security, all the informations will automatically be deleted. I designed it that way ever since you succeeded on breaking the firewall once."
I looked at L hoping that he'll understand what I'm saying. Kaya nga sa computer room lang ako nakakapagtrabaho at hindi sa kung saan-saan dahil iyon lang ang may access sa lahat ng myembro ng Red Faction. Kaya nahirapan talaga akong sundin ang mga utos ng Queen noon when L was still guarding me.
He squeezed my hand at doon na ako nakahinga nang maluwag. He's a tracker. He gets what I'm saying. At natutuwa ako na malamang naniniwala sya sa sinabi ko.
"Then we will not have any chance to find my brother." Tracer muttered. Napatingin ako sa kanya and he looked like he's thinking of another way to gain an access to my computers.
