"Are you sure you're not coming with? The invitation says I can bring a plus one." My mother asks for the thousandth time since Anne told her the news.

I look up from my seat on her couch. "No, mum. I just want to stay here and mope on my own." I say, giving her a thumbs up.

I knew the reason for me being so upset was not only because of Harry getting married to someone who doesn't want me at their wedding or his life - but also because I started my period and I've been depressed about it.

I've been at my mum's house since this morning helping her pack for a two day stay in New York with Anne. The wedding is literally the day she lands, and she'll only have time to get ready which means she'll have to sleep on the plane.

"What happened to that boy? Benjamin." She asks, throwing her makeup inside her makeup bag.

"Still in America mum." I say. I've told her this many times before yet she still asks. "Please stop getting me more sad."

"If it helps," She says from the bathroom. "Anne and I have always wanted you and Harry to get together." As she says this, I facepalm myself.

"Not you too." I've had enough from Alice telling me Harry and I are soulmates when we're far from that.

"I'm just saying. Anne doesn't really like this Kendall girl, but she's trying for Harry. Just like I did with Ethan." The doorbell goes off and she gets it.

"We need to leave if we want to rest on the plane." Anne says, placing her sunglasses on her head, despite it being winter she still wore shades. "Kate, are you sure?"

"Trust me." I say with a smile. "Tell him I say congratulations." After a while, my mum and Anne are out of the door and into the Uber.

I watched them drive away making me feel even more lonely.

I was completely bored. I couldn't watch TV because the news are talking about Harry and Kendall's wedding. I couldn't go on the internet for the same reasons.

I need to get out of the house, quickly before I go mad.

I make sure that all lights are off and doors and windows are locked before leaving my mothers house. I was going to go out tonight, and I wasn't going to let anything ruin my day.

Again at least.
