Twelve: spending time together

I woke up pretty late Tim wasn't there besides me it was 10:30am so I couldn't blame him. I looked into the mirror and there were bruises all over my body. The only place we're I didn't have bruises was my face but you could tell that I was hurt badly. I went into the kitchen to find Tim making breakfast for me and Taya. Tim hugged me and told me that when I was asleep he went to the grocery store. He bought me groceries and was making pancakes for me and Taya. We kissed and he noticed my bruises he knew it was from last night. I went into the bathroom to bandage up my arms and legs until they heal. Sure it was a bit extreme but Taya will be asking questions. When I went into the living room I put on the news it showed my dad getting arrested for child abuse, abuse, assault. It was so good to see my dad in jail after what he did to me. The news lady said that this wife has bipolar disorder and is at a mental hospital for treatment. She said the kids ran away but she didn't get into to much detail there. Tim handed me some pancakes to me and Taya I said thanks and changed the tv channel. I changed the tv channel so Taya can watch some cartoons. I ate my pancakes next to Tim. Tim knew something was up with me because he saw my bandages. Are you ok you have bandages on your arms and legs Tim said. I want my bruises to heal faster and I don't want Taya to see them I said nervously. Tim hugged me saying everything will be all ok before kissing me. I felt so much better after that because no one accept Taya cared about me. Everything at my old home was just fear,madness,sadness,depressing. I'm glad that me and Taya left that house. Taya went into her room and me and Tim chatted for a bit. Hey how you feeling after the night we had yesterday Tim said. He was caring for me and I liked it, oh I'm doing ok just my bruises need to heal I said. Oh that's good to know maybe if we want to go on another date maybe we can have a little movie night I said. Tim picked me up and brought me to my room and closed to door behind me. Tim what are you doing I said I little scared. Don't worry, replied Tim. Tim opened his laptop and put up movies I was so happy. As we watched more and more movies he pulled me closer to him and surprised kissed me. I didn't mind he was caring and sweet I fell asleep on him I was tried. When I woke up it was 8:30pm he made dinner and was watching the news. The news was about a trial IT WAS MY DAD. My dad was being trialed of the things he did to my mom, me, and Taya. My mom told everything of what my dad did to her and her kids. She got very emotional but I wouldn't blame her she had been dealing with that for years. My dad only had a drop dead look in his eyes he looked like he didn't regret anything he did. Everyone was shocked about what happened my dad ended up with 20 years in prison. For me I think that's not enough he doesn't look like he regretted anything he did. I know him he will do it again and again when he gets the chance. My mom is still married to my dad she needs to divorce him my dad is horrible to her. Tim turned off the tv and gave me some popcorn. I wasn't that hungry but he gave the popcorn to me. Later he turned on a movie. It was 9:30 and when I checked on Taya she was asleep. I went back to the couch and watched the movie together. Tim put his arm around me and our eyes met together and we kiss over and over again.
