Prompt #56 #73 - The Doctors POV

Rory rushed into the room, breathing heavily “We have a problem.” Both me and Amy turned to him.

“There are Angels out there,” he stuck his thumb towards the TARDIS door.

“How are you here if you encountered them?” I asked. He gestured, making a line in the air “Its - uh - its caught in the phone wires,”

“We should probably go check it out,” Amy suggested.

“Probably a good idea,” I agreed and followed Rory back out the door. The sidewalk was empty, making the walk for us quicker. After about 5 minutes of walking Rory stopped and pointed upwards.

“Oh my god,” Amy said looking at the statue, but my attention was drawn a little ways down. There was an angel caught in the power lines. I must have said something along those lines aloud because Rory spoke “Yes, that's why I brought you here,”

“No, I mean her,” I pointed towards the unconscious form of a girl.

“Oh. I didn’t see her when I was here last, just that one,” he admitted. Amy was the only one to actually question what I had said “Did you just call her an angel?” I ignored her question instead turning towards Rory “Go get a ladder, we have to get them down,”

“Even the angel? I mean the weeping angel,” he whined.

“Yes even the weeping angel, we cant leave it there for someone else,” I responded and he trudged off. Amy bumped my side “you called her an angel,” she said cheekily.

“I think she’s pretty, is that a problem?” I asked, my face beating up. She shook her head, a smile playing on her lips. The girl began to move, slowly waking up, before she began to struggle. I ran under her and stuck my hands up towards her.
“Hey, hey, try not to move alright? We’re going to get you out. Okay?” I tried my best to sound calming.

“Where are they?” she asked, but ceased her moving.

“Where are what?” I questioned back.

“The angels, the stone angels,” she began moving again.

“Please stop moving, you are going to fall, it’s right there, it’s also stuck in the power lines,” I explained pointing towards the angel. Rory finally made it back with a ladder. We set it up underneath her.

“No, there's two, where’s the other one?” she panicked. I climbed up to her.

“We will find it, I promise, but right now we need to get you down, without you splatting like an egg on the concrete, alright?”

“Alright,” she agreed calming down.

“Did she just say there's another one?” Amy cut in. I sighed “yes she did,” Rory threw his hands into the air and pointed behind him “Don’t mind me, I’ll just be in the corner having an existential crisis,” I rolled my eyes and turned back to the girl, still working at the wires to get her out.

“What’s your name?” she asked.

“I’m the Doctor, and you are?”

“I’m Y/N, Y/N L/N” she replied sticking out her hand. I shook it lightly, before moving her hands around my neck, and got my arms around her best I could. I released a wire causing a chain reaction and she fell into me, the ladder wobbling a little.

“Thanks,” she said, her face inches from mine. I could feel my face heating up again, she smiled and kissed my cheek before climbing down, allowing me to do the same.

Once we were both down Rory came back from his ‘corner’ and stood alongside Amy.

“So what do we do about them?” he asked.

“We get them to look at each other,” I responded.

“I think you’re going to find that a little more difficult than you want it to be,” Y/N put in.

“Probably, but it’ll be worth it,” I said. Her an Amy nodded in agreement. Rory shook his head lightly.

“Lets go,” I laughed and she gave me two thumbs up.

“This’ll be a blast,” Rory mumbled following me. I could hear Amy and Y/N talking from behind us.

“He called you an angel,” Amy whispered to her.

“Really?” Y/N asked giggling quietly.

“Really,”
