*Rory's POV*
"Oh, god I'm going to die, I'm going to die in here," I mumbled to myself.
"No, you're not now, could you shut up," a voice spoke from behind me.
"Wh-who's there?" I asked.
"My name is Y/N, and you are?" Her voice was soft, very calming, as if she were doing it on purpose.
"I'm Rory," I replied "What's going on?"
"Well you've gotten yourself captured by an alien race, Rory dear," she seemed weirdly relaxed.
"Why are you so much calmer than me?"
"Well, I am aware of my surroundings while you are not, I've also been here a bit longer than you. I know the way it works, mostly, a guard comes and checks on prisoners about every 45 minutes," she explained. I shook my head trying to get the blindfold off.
"Keep it on, Rory," she whispered barely loud enough for me to hear.
"Wh-why?" I stuttered.
"It's just a better idea, trust me," she begged.
"Okay," I agreed.
20 minutes later the guard that Y/N had talked about came to check on us. I could tell something was happening, because the guard started shouting and what sounded like dozens of other guards, entered the room.
"Have you still got your blindfold on?" her voice came from where she was tied up from behind me.
"Yes,"
"Promise me you won't take it off," she seemed to be begging again.
"I promise," I assured her. She must have been out of her ropes because in a matter of seconds the guards around us began screaming and falling with loud thumps to the floor. After no more than 5 minutes, the noise stopped. The ropes around me fell loose, and I shot off the floor, turning wildly.
"You can take it off now," her voice broke the newfound silence. My hands slowly made their way to my face and lifted up the cloth covering my eyes. She stood in front of me trying her best to fix her hair. Scattered around us were dozens of bodies. I started to speak but a clapping from across the room stopped me. The two of us jerked around. The Doctor stood in the doorway.
"How long have you been standing there?" Y/N asked.
"Longer than you'd like," he replied. He walked around the room examining the bodies, Y/N staring at him the entire time. They seemed uneasy around each other.
"What is happening?" I threw my hands in the air. They both ignored me and continued to stare at each other.
"How long have you been here?" the Doctor finally asked.
"3 months," she replied quietly.
"They did this to you?"
"Yes,"
"And now-" he paused.
"They are afraid of me, I don't blame them. I'm afraid of me too," her voice dropping to a whisper.
"I'm not afraid of you," he said sticking his hand out "I'm the Doctor,"
"Doctor what?" she asked, shaking it. The Doctor looked disappointed for a moment.
"Just the Doctor," he stuck his now empty hand towards me, "you've already met Rory, I doubt he's scared of you either."
"Not at all," I agreed. A loud thumping came from the hallway.
"Okay we can finish this elsewhere, we have to go," the Doctor said before leaving the room, motioning for us to follow.
"He's a strange one," Y/N noted.
"Yes he is," I agreed. "Yes he is."
