Prompt #92 #92 - The Doctors POV

Uncontrollable.

Dangerous.

Do not approach.

These were the words that were plastered over every news feed we saw.

“Rory tell me what’s wrong with this,” I said.

“She hasn’t done anything wrong…?” he suggested.

“We don’t know that. Amy?” He tried his other friend.

“She’s a child,” Amy replied more confidently.

“Exactly, she can’t be any older than 16,” I clapped my hands turning to the lovely couple traveling with me “Let's go find us a child, yeah?”

“Never say that again,” Rory sighed rubbing his temples.

“Yeah, no,” I agreed.

“If you were an extremely dangerous 16 year old, where would you hang out?” Rory asked. I looked at him “I wouldn’t be hanging out, I’d be hiding out,”

“That’s what I mean,”

“Is that her?” Amy cut off our bickering. She was pointing to a building. Sitting at the window seat of a cafe was the girl shown on TV.

“That is,what is she doing in the open though?” I questioned. We made our way into the cafe. I sent Rory and Amy to get themselves some drinks, and I approached the girls table. The moment I pulled the chair across from her out, every single person in the cafe stood up as if to make a move towards me. I looked around cautiously before taking a seat.

“I’m not here to hurt you,” I assured her “neither are my friends,” the people around me sat down, in perfect union. I glanced from them, back to her.

“They couldn’t if they wanted to, you on the other hand. You are more difficult,” she replied. I looked around. Amy and Rory were now seated with the other people.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Girls on one side boys on the other,” she said. Everybody in the cafe went to a side of the room. When I looked up they were separated boys and girls, including Amy and Rory. I suddenly realized what caused people to be so afraid of her. Mind control.

“You, you are-” I stuttered.

Beautiful, a genius, immensely talented,” she suggested.

Dangerous,” I finished my sentence. She seemed to find this funny because she laughed loudly and everyone else in the cafe did too. She stopped almost immediately.

“Sorry, I forget about that sometimes,” she apologized quietly.

“Y/N, that is your name right?” I changed the subject as to not make her uncomfortable.

“Yes,” she replied.

“Well Y/N, why don’t you let these people go, and come with me and my friends?” I asked.

“I’ll let the people go but why should I go with you?” she shot back. She seemed to understand that I meant no harm because everyone in the cafe was suddenly moving around of their own free will.

“We should get you out of here before someone recognizes you,”

“They can’t see me,” she informed me.
"You can do that through the mind control i presume?"

“Yes, but mind control isn’t the only thing I can do sir,” the two empty chairs at the table pulled out, neither of us touching them. A second later Amy and Rory were sitting in them. They could see us.

“So you can move things, telekinesis,” I said to her.

“Most people just use the more scientific term, dangerous, scary mind powers,” she joked.

Rory laughed at this. A small smile formed on her lips.

“What else can you do?” I asked.

“I can read minds, that’s about it,” she continued looking down at the table.

“That’s really cool,” Amy admitted. The girl's head shot up, finally giving me a good look at her face. At that moment we all realized something we hadn’t before. She must have noticed this because her head fell back down.

“You’re eyes, they’re-”

“Weird, purple, I know,” she cut Amy off.

“Beautiful,” she finished. The girls head slowly raised again “Do you really mean that?”

“Of course I mean it,” she smiled, sticking her hand out “I’m Amy Pond, this is my husband Rory, and this one-” she bumped my shoulder,”-is the Doctor” Y/N shook her hand and her eyes fell on me.

“I’m not an actual doctor, I mean technically I have a couple doctorates, one in cheese making" I whispered the last part "but that’s just what I go by,” she nodded in response.

“So what do you say Y/N, you can come with us if you want, no one will lock you away,” I suggested.

“No one can lock me away anyways, remember?”

“Yes, but we’re fun,” Rory put in.

“Yeah! We’re fun,” I agreed.

She smiled “Yeah I’ll come with you guys,”

“Wonderful, now out of all of time and space, where do you want to go?” I asked.

“All of time and space you say?”

“All of it,”
