Nang medyo malayo layo na kami sa pwesto namin ay tiyaka kami tumigil. Nakasunod lamang ako sa likod niya.
Madilim ang parte na hinintuan namin ngunit dahil sa buwan ay maliwanag ng kaunti.
"Amm, so why did you get me here?" Tanga ka brin, malamang mag uusap kayo. Tsk.
"I just wanted to talk to you." He said and look at me in the eyes.
"Ab-about?" I stuttered while talking. Siya lang naman to, ba't ba ako nauutal?
"About my fe------" di na niya natapos ang sasabihin ng may dumaan na grupo ng mga lasing.
Ano ba yung sasabihin niya? Fe? anong fe?
Nilalamig na ako dito, lakas ba naman ng hangin. One of the boys whistled while looking at my legs. Umatras naman ako at inirapan sila, nagtawanan naman sila at huminto.
Lumapit naman sakin yung nag whistle at tinignan uli ako from head to toe. "Sexy." I heard him utter. "I'm Jason miss sexy but you can call me Ason." At nilahad ang kamay niya sakin.
"I don't talk to stranger." Malamig kong sabi. And what? Ason? ha asshole.
"Woah chill miss sexy, I just wanted to introd---" I cut him off.
"I'm not interested with you. Ason right? So fvck off." I said with a smirk.
Nawala naman ang mapang asar na ngiti nito at napalitan ng demonyong ngisi.
"Do you even know me miss? C'mon i just wanted your name and also...." Huminto ito saglit sa pagsasalita at inilang hakbang ang pagitan namin. Nanlaki ang mata ko ng akma niya akong hahalikan sa pisngi ngunit hindi natuloy dahil bigla itong natumba sa buhangin.
Narinig ko ang mahinang pagmumura ni Zach bago niya ako hinila sa Isa sa mga cottage at naghubad tiyaka binigay niya sakin ang t-shirt niya. Hinayaan na namin ang lalaki na natumba sa buhangin.
Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "Anong gagawin ko sa t-shirt mo?" Nagtatakang tanong ko. Binato ko pabalik sa kanya ang t-shirt niya at akmang lalabas na ng cottage ng hinila niya ako pabalik.
"Wear it. Your revealing too much skin of yours." What?
"Huh ayoko may damit naman ako, kita mo nga oh." I said and point my finger on my off shoulder.
He closed his eyes and groaned of annoyance, he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why so stubborn? C'mon just wear it baby." He said. Pleading.
"Ba't ko nga susuotin yan?" Sarap niyang asarin, pikon agad hahaha.
He looked at me seriously. "Wear it or I'll kiss you? You choose by." Bat may papilipili na ngayon?
Mabilis ko namang kinuha sa kanya ang t-shirt niya at sinuot ito agad. Hanggang legs ko ang t-shirt niya na natatakpan na ang skirt ko.
Tinitigan niya ako and he sighed in relief. "Better than before." He said.
"Ikaw naman ngayon ang walang susuotin." Napaisip naman ako kung ipapasuot ko sa kanya ang off shoulder ko. "Try to wear my off shoulder." I said with wide smile.
"No."
Okay sabi mo eh, di naman ako ang lalamigin.
"Amm, ano nga ulit yung pag-uusapan natin?" Pagbubukas ko ng topic.
Umiwas naman ako ng tingin dahil nadidistract ako sa abs niya. Sarap tirisin.
"Nevermind, maybe in some other time I'll tell you." He said while licking her lips.
"Uh okay." A moment of silence and it's kinda awkward.
"Tell me about yourself." Zach broke the silence.
"Bakit?"
He just shrugged so I decided to start telling him about myself. Wala naman sigurong masama.
"I'm a girl." He smirked of what I said.
"Yeah, really obvious Corrine." Tinawag niya ako sa first name ko? Hindi ako sanay because most of them called me in my second name which is Brinley.
"Why did you call me on my first name and not the second one?" Curious lang naman ako. Nakakapagtaka lang.
"Para maiba naman."
Okay ulit. Nagpatuloy naman ako sa pagsasabi tungkol sa sarili ko.
"Yun na nga, daddy's girl ako. Ay pakilala muna ako." Huminto muna ako saglit. "I'm Corrine Brinley Emerson, 24 years old currently working in my dad's company. I graduated in BS Tourism Management but my parents doesn't allowed me to become a flight attendant so I just worked in business, though I kinda don't like it but maybe FA is not my line so that's it."
Yeah my parents doesn't allow me, I mean my dad is fine with it but he has nothing to do with it. My mommy insisted that I should take a business because Emerson clan is into businesses.
"Uhuh, you should follow what your heart tells. Just so you know, it's hard to accept that the dream you want is still a dream until now. You should take it, pursue it. You want that right? But it's already happened, anyway."
Wow may ganyan pala siyang linayahan? Hindi halata ah.
"Soooo, I have lot's of favorites like I wanted to ride roller coaster even though it's really scary. I wanted to jump in a bridge and a sea in the bottom so I can dive deeply. Amm, I'm afraid of ghost but I'm watching horror movies with my friends, and also cockroaches. Ah Clown pa pala, their face is weird, it's like their are ready to attack you anytime. Ana said I'm a cry baby. And I'm agreed to it."
Totoo naman daw kasi, bilis bilis kong umiyak. Tinignan ko naman si Zach na nakatitig lang sakin and he looks amuse while listening to my story.
"Ghost aren't real, they're just your imagination." Blablabla totoo ang ghost kaya.
"Helloooo ghost are real, I even saw it once!"
Nung nasa condo ako ni kuya, ako lang magisa non dahil inaantay ko pa siyang dumating and then boom! I heard a crying baby in the bathroom. Cause of fear lumabas ako sa condo ni kuya at sa labas nalang siya inantay. Perks of being matatakutin. Tsk.
"Your just imagining that's why, you feel like they are in your back watching you or whatever."
"What are your likes?" Pagiiba niya ng usapan.
"I like oversized shirt, like this," At tinuro ang suot kong shirt. "It's comfortable, anddddd my favorite flowers are baby's breathe and tulips. I'm moody sometimes and I'm 'maldita' din sometimes. And I don't usually talk back cause it's bad but when I talk back that means I'm fighting what is right. And I'm a straight forward person, pranka kumbaga."
Bat ba nakatitig lang to sakin? Baka matunaw ako. Charot lang.
"Uhuh, thanks for the info." And then he winked. Sa dinami ng sinabi ko yun lang ang masasabi niya? How bad. Psh.
"Di ka ba nilalamig? Your half naked." I said.
'hug mo nalang sapat na' may binulong siya na di ko masyadong narinig.
"Let's go back, baka hinahanap na nila tayo." Sabi niya at tumango naman ako. Nauna akong lumabas ng cottage at sumalubong agad sakin ang malamig na hangin.
Naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko ng maramdaman ko ang yakap ni Zach sa likod ko. He buried his face on my right neck and groaned. "I badly want this. For a long time I finally hugged you."
