Dianne's POV
A few days had now passed we had everything ready for Safire to come home, so we made our way to Ben and Amy's place to pick her up.
"I can't wait to see her again, I've missed her" I said.
"Yeah me too, I mean it's weird how she's only been in our life a few days and she might not even have been yet I already miss her" said Joe.  Soon after we arrived at Ben and Amy's place. We got out of the car and then Joe knocked on the door.
"Just a second" we heard Amy call" and then she opened the door and Ben was stood there with Safire in his arms.
"Aww there's my girl" said Joe as he took Safire from Ben's arms.
"Huh, you're really taking fatherhood under your wing" said Amy in surprise
"Well anyway we'd better get going, we want to her her settled, coz I'm guessing she's been moved around a lot the past few days, but thank you so much for taking care of her" I said
"No problem anytime, plus she was good as gold" said Amy and then Joe and I said goodbye to Ben, I grabbed Safire's bag as Joe was still holding her and then we made our way out of the door.
"Now Joe please make sure you strap her in properly" I said as Joe placed Safire into her car seat.
"Dot, relax this is a breeze" said Joe in an Australian accent.
"See? She's as snug as a bug in a rug" said Joe and then he snapped a picture of her.

"So Safire, this is your new home, I hope you enjoy your stay here" I said as we entered the house

"So Safire, this is your new home, I hope you enjoy your stay here" I said as we entered the house.
"Wow it seems so surreal having a baby in the house" said Joe.
"It does, even more so considering we didn't have nine months to prepare I said.
"Yes, it's a shame we can't contact Alice to let her know that she's okay" said Joe and then Safire started crying so I lifted her out of car seat.
"I'll go make her a bottle" said Joe
"No need, it's her nappy" I said as I felt her full nappy under my hand.
"But we do need to sterilise her bottles" I said as I got up off the sofa to go and change her nappy.
"Right okay I'll go and do that then" said Joe
"Right let's get you changed then misses" I said and then I placed her on the changing mat, we did have a changing table but I was to scared to use it at the moment.
"There all nice and clean" I said as redressed her, I then put her dirty nappy and wipes in her nappy bin.
"Bottles are done" said Joe as I came into the kitchen.
"Nice, I'll prepare some bottles in a second, I'm guessing she'll want feeding soon" I said.
"Okay, I'll look after her while you sort them out" said Joe.
"Okay, also I was thinking of buying another Moses basket so we can have one downstairs so that we don't have to hold her all the time and so she don't have to stay in her car seat"
"Yes that's a good idea, plus we can keep her car seat in the car then" said Joe
"Yes okay also we need to register her with our doctor" I said.
"Okay I'll see if I can do that over the phone, if not we'll do that tomorrow" said Joe.
"Right well you better take her while I go and make these bottles" I said as I passed Safi over to Joe.
