Going to the new house

Joe's POV after a long flight we arrived in London, it was so weird being back here, almost as if it was alien to us, like were coming here on holiday and then we would be going back home in a week. We found a Nando's and grabbed a quick bite to eat, while we were eating our food I called for a taxi.
20 mins later.
I saw a notification on my phone to tell me that the taxi was 5 mins away so we finished up and then I asked for bill. We then made our way out of the airport. After a short drive we pulled up outside our old apartment, it felt strange looking up at our balcony I picture a ghostly joe and Dianne sitting on the outdoor furniture and a baby Safire in her bouncer like our memories had left a ghostly imprint on the house, maybe moving would be a good thing at least Safire would have a garden to play in. We got out of the taxi and thanked him and Paid him. We got in the lift and went up to our apartment, I put the keys in the lock and opened the door. All of our furniture had been put away in storage and was now being moved to our new house, but all of our other stuff was still here, the photos our clothes everything, but it didn't feel like home, it didn't feel like a place of safety. I sat down on the floor and then Dianne came and sat next to me with Safire in her lap.
"What are you doing"? she asked.
"Just thinking" I said
"About what"? She asked.
"About how it only takes one little thing for everything to change, like how if we didn't do that meet and great then we wouldn't have Safire and if our address wasn't leaked then we wouldn't have been moving and we wouldn't have gone to Australia for those 3 months, I know we'd probably have gone at some point but not for that long" I said.
"It's amazing how one little thing can change everything" said I nodded and then I got up and took a photo off the wall, it was picture of Dianne and me the day we brought Safi home. We packed up our things and then made our way to our new home. Tomorrow we would collect the rest of our things and then hand the keys in, this wasn't our home anymore and it would never be again.
