MONDAY WAS the hardest day for Jack. He was forced to go to school by his siblings who refused to let him miss another day. He wasn't nervous but he had zero motivation to even go anymore.

It seemed ridiculous. All his friends were graduating this year and he'd be going through his senior year alone with nobody. Plus he had no clue what he wanted to do with his life so the more he went to school the closer to leaving school and having to make it in the real world.

He felt drained, he just needed a day to sleep after all the drama and action that had happened the past couple of weeks.

"Remember to grab the money on the table for lunch, and if anything goes wrong call me" Rebekah said while putting the back on her earrings.

Jack huffed, "You know what would be better then all that? just staying home and helping you guys figure out where the that oak wood thingy is" he replied.

When Esther had tried to killed them Rebekah spent the night keeping Elena trapped in the caves. That same night she had found out there was more oak wood and that they hadn't burned it all. Meaning someone could get their hands on the one weapon that kills them.

"Nice try, but you actually need something called a education to get a job and be able to leave this god forsaken town" Kol laughed walking into the room.

Jack put his backpack on and scoffed, "you guys don't have jobs and yet we're pretty well off. I don't even know what I want to do with my life so why waste my days in school?" he asked rhetorically.

She didn't budge though and had driven him to Mystic Falls High School, giving him the money he'd forgotten to grab and telling him to have a good day before driving away.

He looked at the school and gripped his backpack straps tighter. he stood there for nearly five minutes unsure whether he wanted to go in or not.

"Having a hard time deciding whether to go or not?" someone asked.

Jack looked to his right and saw a boy his age with brown hair and brown eyes looking back at him, he laughed. "Yeah, haven't been in a while and not sure I really wanna go back" he admitted.

"I get that, just moved here myself" he explained, his british accent apparent. He held out his hand, "Jaime Rodriguez" he introduced.

Jack smiled, shaking his hand. "Jack Mikaelson" he said instinctively. He used to be confused whether he was Jack Frostlin, Jack Forbes, or evening Henrik Mikaelson. But now he knew he was the same person as always, only now he had a bigger family.
