{slowing}

Jimin couldn't help but let out a yawn, stretching his arms high above his head before slowly lowering them back down to his side. He was quick to organise his desk of rough sketches and notes before finally shuffling over to the door of his office, swinging it open and entering out into the hallway.

Rubbing at his tired eyes, Jimin dragged his feet over towards the front desk. Yoongi who was still standing behind the front counter lifted his head, "Finally finished?"

"Yep~" Jimin sung, running his hand through his hair, "That was my final customer for the day." he finished, making his way to Yoongi's side as he leant over the male's shoulder. He watched in amusement as Yoongi sketched out a rough tattoo design, not bold and black like most of his other works, but more dainty and frail. His pen moved about the page delicately, and Jimin found his eyes flickering up to meet Yoongi's expression. The male's tongue poked out from the corner of his lips in concentration. He was working hard on this piece.

Jimin couldn't help but ask, "Who's the design for?"

Yoongi straightened himself up, placing the pen down beside the page. He drew in a lengthy breath, "It's for me actually."

Eyes growing wide, Jimin almost had to hear Yoongi's words again to confirm what the male had actually said, "For you?"

Yoongi gave a small nod, "I know it won't match anything else on my skin, but I want at least something symbolic."

Bringing his eyes back down to the page, Jimin studied the design. It was a small cloud, the lines so lightly drawn and connecting in small spirals, "It's pretty."

Yoongi's eyes darted up to meet with Jimin's, "Um, thanks."

Furrowing his brows, Jimin then frowned, "Why a cloud though?"

Yoongi paused, swallowing a breath as he contemplated whether or not to show Jimin what he meant. I mean... there was no harm in doing it right? Out of everyone he knew, Jimin was one of the least likely people to back away from danger. So sweeping the piece of paper aside, Yoongi took ahold of Jimin's shoulders, "Let me show you."

From the front of the store, the late afternoon sun shone through the window. The rays were golden, setting the small fly-away strands of Jimin's hair aglow in its warm light. Jimin took a moment to let out a breath before he replied, "I don't know why you need to show me... but okay." he smiled, and Yoongi felt himself grow warm inside.

Dropping his arms back to his side, Yoongi grabbed his black baseball cap from off the front counter, slapping it over his head before gesturing for Jimin to follow him out the front door of the tattoo parlour. Jimin followed closely behind, not forgetting to switch the 'open' sign over to 'closed' before he locked up the store for the night, the sun beginning to fall below the tips of the buildings.

Jimin found himself stopping to stare, but was jutted back into reality when Yoongi took a hold of his hand, intertwining their fingers as he pulled him along, "Hurry up, the sun's setting..." Yoongi grumbled. As Jimin found his cheeks flushing with the small gesture, his eyes flickered up to read Yoongi's expression, only to be left disappointed when he noticed that his hyung still looked as bored as usual.

With his hand in Jimin's, Yoongi led the boy down the backstreets of the city. His eyes would flicker to the sunset every now and then, letting out a curse once he realised the sun was now dangerously brushing over the horizon. He picked up his pace, the cold winter air stinging at his face every time a gust of wind was sent their way.

Jimin found Yoongi come to a stop in the middle of an alleyway. Graffiti was sprayed over the walls, the pavement still damp and littered with puddles from the rainfall a few days ago. He watched as Yoongi made his way over to an old rusted ladder on the side of the right building, putting one foot on the metal before latching a hand on as he began to climb.
