Kaya
"A pegasus... that's it. My life is a lie." Kaya said in surprise. Annabeth had been touring her around the camp, and they were passing the stables. However, Kaya got the uncanny feeling that Annabeth was watching, almost studying her. She looked at Kaya up and down, then to the cabins, muttering mindlessly. "You're trying to find out who my godly parent is." Kaya said.
"No- actually, yeah. Do you have any abilities?"
"Like... what?"
"Well, Percy is a hydrokinetic, Leo's a pyrokinetic, Frank can shape shift... can you do anything? it might help decipher who your parent is."
Kaya hesitated, but gave a small smile. "Do you want me to show you?"

Annabeth
Annabeth was taken aback by what Kaya said, suddenly nervous. "Um, it won't hurt anyone.. will it?"
Kaya threw some random seeds at Annabeth's feet.
"No, just... try not to scream."
"Why would I-" The second Kaya took a step, a huge vine wrapped around Annabeth and shot her up into the air (kinda like jack in the beanstalk, except this one seemed like a one-way trip to Annabeth.). Okay, yes, Annabeth screamed. Very loudly. "Um, please put me down now!" She yelled. Instead, 2 vines wrapped around Kaya and she shot upwards to join her. "I told you not to scream."
"Yeah, I wasn't expecting you to throw me up here! Now PUT ME DOWN. Please?" She said. She was relieved to find the vines receding back down into the ground. She looked at Kaya, wide-eyed. "So.. you can control plants. You're a chlorokinetic. I.. I think I know you're godly parent now."
"Will you tell me?"
"Not yet."
Kaya looked tense, as if she was hiding something. "What?" Annabeth said.
Kaya flinched. "It's nothing, I just usually can't control my powers very well."
"Yeah you can. You showed no sign that you can do what you do."
"Look behind us, then."
Annabeth turned her head. Everywhere Kaya had walked, a trail of dandelions followed her. Annabeth tried not to giggle.
"I can on control it when I focus on it. You should see what happens when I touch a tree. Everything starts growing like crazy. "
Annabeth laughed."Oh. Well, with any luck, you'll get claimed before the end of the campfire." A bell rang in the distance. "C'mon, it's time for dinner!"

Kaya
Should I tell her I have other abilities? Kaya wondered, then quickly decided against it. If Annabeth didn't ask to see them, then it was likely that no other demigod could do it either. If Kaya was given 3 wishes at that moment, her first wish would, without a doubt, be to be normal. But how can you be normal when you were born to stand out? When Kaya was nine, she found out that she could move things with her mind. She had the power of telekinesis. She could control the plants around her at the age of 12 (another weird thing, mind you. I was told by my friends that they've had their powers since they've been born. Dunno why i didn't.). I have to settle for being weird, then, Kaya thought, running down the hill for dinner.

After dinner came the camp-fire. Well, Kaya thought it was a camp-fire, but what greeted her was much worse: A dreaded sing along. Kaya tried not to cringe as the rest of the camp sang about a grandma putting on armour.(which sounded like dying cats, btw) When the campers around her were done screaming- sorry, singing, Chiron (a centaur) stood up.
"Today we have found a new camper. Everyone please welcome to Kaya Williams!" Kaya had the feeling that everyone was watching her now. She managed a shy wave. A small vine started circling her foot, but Kaya quickly smashed it down before anyone noticed. Alright, Kaya might've tuned out when Chiron mentioned capture the flag for the fifth time.
Suddenly, everyone gasped. "What? What's wron-" she stopped, noticing the green and white light bathing the people around her. She looked up and yelped. A symbol was on top of her head, but something was wrong. It was.. glitching? One one half, there seemed to be half of demeter's symbol. On the other half, however... an eye.
