Ariana's pov

"And here we have new artist Y/n Y/L with his latest single 'Treat You Better' i gotta say this kids been killing it and I could totally see him selling out stadiums soon."

Looking out the window i couldn't help but smile to the music. I couldn't help but think he is already catching everyone's attention.

"Have you not crossed paths with him? Like at all?"

"I haven't, I don't know we both have busy schedules. He's doing amazing though just like I knew he would." I said looking back at Courtney and she just pursed her lips and nodded while looking down at her phone.

"I mean he's everywhere, billboards, magazines, television I just wow he's even more beautiful than I remember every time I see him pop up on my timeline."

"Court you're acting like your single fan girling over him"

"Well, he is my boyfriend's best friend, and I am a huge fan of him so yes I'm fan girling over him, but Ross is my baby and I love him." I just nodded my head looking over at her seeing how deeply in love she was with Ross.

We were on a break for the holidays, well thanksgiving.

Back in New York for now, and Courtney has not shut up about Ross being on his way over here to spend the holiday with her.

"Where is he from again?"

"he's from Colorado, and no Y/n isn't from colorado too" I turned to look at her and raised my eyebrows at her and she just gave me a knowing look.

"I know you want to know if Y/n is coming with him."

I decided to not say anything, i just let her finish

"They're not obviously, Y/n is from Oregon and no I don't know if he's coming." I nodded my head and just decided not to question it anymore.

Ever since Y/n left we kept in touch a bit just a bit then he just stopped responding and i didn't want to feel like a bother so i stopped texting him.

I would keep up with him, as he would with me. We would like each other's pictures back then but for a while now it seems like he does not even know what is going on with me but at the same time he is touring.

I know in a way when i got engaged to Pete that it hurt him and sometimes i think that is why he lost connection to me but i mean he could read the news and see that we split in the summer.

But even after we split, I would have thought I would get more attention from him but that was not the case at all.

Fans keep tweeting about us to get together and making edits of us together and i do miss him, but I am not going to beg for someone to stay or ask to be in my life if they do not want.

I just do not think anyone deserves that and a part of me is still pretty upset about how it all went down.

"So where are we going for this thanksgiving?" I asked as I walked around the kitchen counter and grabbed my half empty water bottle.

"We're going to the ranch, it should be peaceful and beautiful especially when the sun goes down, everyone will love it."

I smiled and nodded my head already liking the idea.

"Will there be any horses?"

"I think so, maybe a couple I don't know if we'll able to ride them though who knows."
