For @Crash519 who is stronger than she gives herself credit for xx

Tasha woke to the door being slammed shut making her aware that yet again her old man had just left for the day without saying goodbye. She was getting sick of it all, he obviously didn't want her any more and she had to be honest, she couldn't really blame him.

For the last few weeks their relationship had taken hit after hit and despite her best friend telling her not to take it personally Tasha couldn't do much else. She had always struggled with her confidence and her self worth, always made worse by her brother being the golden boy. No one ever questioned Jackson Teller, the blond haired blue eyed self proclaimed God, no one except for Tasha. She supposed she was his voice of reason and ever since Tara had come back he had no time for her. Club stuff was on the up and they were busier than they had ever been.

She knew that was one of the problems. She was a Teller and used to knowing everything but her old man, the Tacoma Killa had other ideas. Happy Lowman had pretty much threatened to gut anyone who told her anything.

------

CJ Lowman was busy working on a car when her brother rolled into the lot with a pissed off look on his face. Most people would assume that this was a normal face for her brother but she knew him better than that. There was something on his mind and she was willing to be it was something to do with Tasha.

She wiped her oily hands on her overalls and walked over to Hap, lighting as cigarette as she moved. It was easy to see the resemblance between them, both heavily tattooed, both said few words and most of all they were known for their temper.

Jax spotted her making a beeline for her brother and nudged Tig "Dude this is going to be dangerous, look at the pair of them." Tig rolled his eyes as he stealthily made his way towards the brother and sister pair, ready to jump in if it got too bad.

"What the fuck Hap, you left Tasha on her own again?" she screamed getting right in his face. "Watch who the hell you are talking to." he growled back at her. "You seriously need to take your head out of your ass before you fucking lose her!" CJ screamed and quick as a flash slapped him. Tig heard the growl come from his friend and went to move between them when Hap caught his eye and shook his head.

Tig sighed knowing it was going to be one of those days and he was best to deal with CJ after the inevitable fight. Jax left to call Gemma and ask her to check on Tasha, Tig also knew he was going to make her promise not to say a word about what happened at TM.

As Jax walked back Happy and CJ were already in the ring, circling each other clearly planning their strikes. Hap made the first move, catching CJ on the left temple. Tig chuckled at her response to being hit and watched as she hit a combo shot to Hap's ribs and his face, managing to bust his eye open and blood to stream down his face. Tig winced knowing that bloodshed would make him more vicious and he wasn't wrong. The hits between the two got harder and quicker with lots more blood being shed. Jax and Tig shared a look before getting in between the two and pulling them apart.

Happy stormed off to his dorm to no doubt clean himself up whilst CJ was forced into a chair by the bar as Tig went in search of the first aid kit. She remained silent as he returned with the kit and a gin with ice and lemonade for her. He waited for her to take a sizeable gulp before he started cleaning with the disinfectant knowing full well she was going to cuss him out. "You want to tell me what that shit was about doll?" Tig asked knowing she wouldn't sat shit until she was good and ready. "Just my asshole brother doing what he does best." she said and Tig knew better than to push it.

Gemma raced round to her daughters after a call from Jax. All she knew was Happy had gone to TM and Tasha wasn't with him. Both Jax and Gemma had noticed a difference in her over the last few weeks and were concerned about her.

They both knew that her previous relationship before Hap had left her messed up for a long time, the asshole had said and done things to her that no one ever deserved. Her relationship with Happy was built on the retaliation the club brought on him for her and that Happy had asked to be the one to tell her about the new smiley face and the plot in Chigger Woods. Seeing the look in his eye Jax wasn't going to deny the man.

From that day forward Tasha and Happy had been pretty much inseparable.

Gemma let herself in and called for Tasha and began to get worried when she didn't respond. She knew Tasha was home as her bike was still out front. Still calling her name Gem checked every room in the house before getting to the master bedroom. She knocked first and still got no answer and didn't hear the shower running and began to get scared. Gemma was a fierce woman but if something was up with her kids she was scared. Gently she opened the door and the sight that greeted her had tears springing to her eyes.

Tasha was curled up on the bed, a steady stream of tears running down her face as she was shaking with the force of her sobs. She was mumbling away to herself and Gemma struggled to hear what she was saying. When she finally made out what it was her heart broke for her little girl. "Why am I never good enough?, What is wrong with me?" she was repeating it over and over.

Gemma rushed to her side and gathered Tasha into a hug letting the broken woman sob on her shoulder. With one hand she sent a text to Jax We gotta do something, Tasha is not good. Not seen her like this since.... She knew she wouldn't have to finish that text and that Jax would know exactly what she meant.

-----

Jax received the text from Gem and let out a huge sigh. He had seen that Tig had finished patching up CJ and he knew that Tasha's best friend would know exactly what was going on so he headed over to her.

She didn't look up as Jax sat down but simply asked "How is Tasha?" Jax sighed taking a swig if her drink and grimacing at the taste before he answered her "She's not good, but you knew that." he told her. CJ pushed a breath through her teeth before placing a cigarette in her mouth. Jax leaned over to light it for her before lighting his own. "Yeah, I did. Why do you think that shit between me and Hap happened?" she asked him. Jax chuckled and pulled her into a hug "I'm glad you are here for my sister sweetheart." CJ gave him a wry smile and went to stand up telling Jax "Guess I ought to go and try to talk to Hap."

Jax smirked and remained where he was knowing full well he may be needed to break up round two.
