Tig had told MJ that the battery for the car would be in the next day so she asked him to point her to the nearest motel.

Within a few minutes of being told MJ found herself outside a nondescript motel and used one of the cards Dean had sourced for her to grab a room for the night. Only once she was safely inside the room with the door locked did she start researching this damn ghost.

She knew this wasn't a vengeful spirit and as such the usual tricks were useless. She checked her dads journal that Dean didn't know she had taken and thumbed through to find the section on ghosts.

As she suspected John Winchester had detailed about using cast iron and rock salt shotguns to ward off a spirit and the only way he knew to get rid was to salt and burn the bones. There was a section on cursed objects too and that pretty much said to destroy them.

She sighed knowing she had no choice but to call for some extra help so she pulled on her big girl panties and dialled Sam.

"Hey Sammy, I need some help here, with this ghost." MJ explained as soon as he answered the call. "Hey MJ, what's the problem?, you know how to deal with this stuff, we've been doing it long enough." he said with a clear older brother tone. MJ snorted "You are only 5 minutes older bitch and I know, but I'm telling you this one is different." Sam chuckled noticing just how similar she was to Dean and then asked the obvious question "Different how?" MJ sighed before telling Sam what she knew. "This ghost is connected to Jackson, who likes to be called Jax by the way, it's not causing any mischief or manifesting like we have seen before. It's like this ghost was settled until recently and now has unfinished business and Jax is at the centre of it. The problem I have is how in the hell am I supposed to contact this ghost and how the hell am I going to talk to Jax about it?" MJ heard Sam sigh and he promised to research and hit her back as soon as he had anything she could use.

Knowing there was nothing she could do she decided to try and get some rest.

MJ was woken by her phone ringing and answered with a sleep filled voice. "Morning sleepy head." came the falsely cheerful voice of Dean. "Ugh what time is it?" MJ asked. "6am here so probably 5am where you are." came Dean's response. "So I am assuming you guys have something for me if you gonna wake me up at some ridiculous hour and talk before I can get some coffee and pie?" she asked. "For the last time MJ, pie is not breakfast material." she heard Sam say. "Shut up Sam, pie is good." MJ and Dean said simultaneously making her smile. She heard Sam grumble and Dean chuckle before he told her what they had found out. "So you need to get yourself a spirit board MJ." MJ was surprised and showed this with "Get a what now?" Dean chuckled again "A spirit board, if what you said is true this ghost has a message it needs to be said so it can move towards the light or wherever it is the damn reapers take them." MJ sighed thinking of how she was going to manage this with what she knew about Jax and the company he keeps. "Kiddo, you know what you're doing, you got this" Dean told her with much more confidence than she felt.

After hanging up the phone MJ researched places she could get a spirit board at such short notice. She needed it to be close seeing as "baby" was still out of commission. She found a listing for a local occult shop and seeing as it didn't open for another 3 hours she took her time getting washed and dressed before heading out to the diner where she indulged in pie just to spite Sam.

MJ walked the short distance to Main street searching for the occult shop she had found the listing for and spotted it down an alley, away from prying eyes. When she first saw the listing she didn't hold much hope but seeing where it was actually placed she was a little more hopeful.

MJ entered the store and was greeted by a woman dressed all in black with make-up so pale she could pass for a spirit herself. She asked about a spirit board and the lady attempted to warn her away from messing with the spirit world, giving her some spiel about it being dangerous if she doesn't know what she's doing and could get more than she bargained for. Choosing to ignore the woman MJ signed her name on the credit card slip and watched as the woman's eyes bulged from her head when she clearly recognised the name. She was still apologising as MJ left the store.

MJ then made her way back to TM where she planned to wait for the car and see if she couldn't contact this spirit while she was there.

Tig greeted her as she arrived and yelled to the prospect to get her some coffee. Smiling in thanks she made her way to the bar where she happily placed the spirit board she had purchased on the bar and waited for the questions to start. She was hoping that this would at least get Jax's attention and she could convince him.

MJ was mumbling to herself and using the spirit board betting more frustrated when it wasn't working, that was until she heard a "What the hell do you think you are doing darlin'?" behind her.

Taking her chance she explained everything to him, who she really was, what she did and how he had someone close to him who had a message for him. Jax was sceptical at best until she asked him to ask a question whilst touching the spirit board. She got him to ask "Do you know me?" he looked at her in shock as the planchette moved without either of them touching it so it hovered over the word "Yes"

Jax now had tears in his eyes as he asked "Opie?" Again the planchette moved and hovered over "No" Jax looked deflated but MJ pressed him to continue. "Dad?" he asked with a noticeable quiver to his voice. "Yes" Realising the importance Jax grabbed MJ's hand and the spirit board and pulled her into his dorm where he shut and locked the door.

He looked at MJ for guidance so she reiterated that his dad had a message for him, something that he needed to hear. Swallowing past the lump in his throat Jax asked "Are you OK Dad?" MJ watched as he began to let tears flow down his face as the planchette moved to "No".

MJ grabbed a pen and paper and encouraged Jax to continue to talk to his Dad and that she would write down whatever it is he had to say. "What's is it Dad?" he asked.

They watched as the planchette moved to spell one word, or one name more precisely.

C-L-A-Y

"What about Clay?" Jax asked more than a little confused.

They both watched as the spirit of JT spelled out more.

G-E-T H-I-M O-U-T.

"Why?" Jax asked getting irritated.

D-A-N-G-E-R-O-U-S

"Seriously?" Jax asked and was answered by the planchette settling over "Yes".

Sighing Jax demanded that he know everything. They watched as the planchette spelled out several words.

K-I-L-L-E-D P-E-O-P-L-E P-I-N-E-Y

Jax snorted saying "We know that" and he watched as JT continued

K-I-L-L-E-D M-E T-A-M-P-E-R-E-D W-I-T-H B-I-K-E

"Dammit, I knew there was something." Jax shouted making MJ flinch.

She knew there was more so asked what Jax wasn't able to "What else?"

They watched as JT told them

N-E-V-E-R W-A-N-T-E-D T-O R-U-N G-U-N-S G-E-T M-Y C-L-U-B O-U-T

"I promise Dad, I'll get this done." Jax said knowing this was going to be hard but if JT wanted it he would do it.
