CJ made her way to her brother's dorm, she didn't regret going off at him but she knew she probably should have tried talking to him with words rather than fists. It was something they were both known for: fight first, ask questions later.
Standing outside his door she took a few calming breaths before knocking. She knew his door would be locked and that she had to wait for him to let her in, she had a moment to worry that he would ice her out after the stunt she had pulled but felt relief when she heard the lock disengage.
Hap opened the door and did not say a word but moved aside to let her in. They had this thing where they would both stay silent and wait for the other to crack, he was determined that she was going to crack first, even if he did understand why she blew up at him.
He let himself smirk when she did crack first whispering "I'm sorry." he cleared the smirk from his face before she could see it and nodded when her dark eyes met his. "I'm just sick of this shit Hap, you know what she went through and now here you are ghosting her which in some ways is fucking worse." she told him. Happy kept the eye contact with his baby sister who was more like him every damn day, there wasn't many people who would call him out on his shit but he was proud that she was one of them. He sighed thinking about how he was going to explain it to her.
Deciding in this case actions were better than words Happy stood up and moved over to his dresser, keenly aware of her eyes following his every move. Yet again he was proud as she was proving to him that she had taken on board everything he had taught her. He fumbled around in the dresser before he found what he was looking for.
He turned back to CJ with a small velvet box in his large hand and this time allowed her to see the smirk that took over his usually hard features as her eyes widened in shock. "You fucking for real?" she asked. His response was a simple nod. "I am so glad I kicked your damn ass, this is why you have been avoiding her? Because you can't handle your own damn feelings?" she hissed at him. He lost the smirk and looked down knowing she was right.
"I need your help." he admitted to her whilst still looking at the floor. "Hell yeah ya do asshole." she said chuckling now. CJ crossed the room and pulled him in for a hug before turning on her heel to march out of the door and begin planning the most epic proposal she could muster.

With a little persuasion Tasha got a shower and let her mother take her out for lunch, promising a girly day. Tasha let her Ma talk her into having her hair done but balked at having her nails done causing Gemma to laugh at her stubbornness. Feeling refreshed Tasha agreed to go to the clubhouse for a drink knowing that Jax had ordered the Honey Jack Daniels in for her. She was nervous as she didn't really want to see Happy, not yet at least but Gemma was not the kind of woman who took no for an answer.
As they walked in arm in arm Tasha heard Gemma gasp and followed her line of sight to see CJ sat at a table, bottle of gin in front of her scribbling away in a notebook. She quickly noticed that that was not the reason for the gasp. She had a black eye and butterfly stitches keeping a cut on her cheek closed. "Carolina Juliana Lowman what the flying fuck happened to you?" Tasha shouted across to her best friend.
Tig and Jax came round the corner chuckling at the anger in Tasha's voice and they both made their way over to pull her into their waiting arms. Tig knew that CJ was going to ignore the question so whispered in Tasha's ear "She took your old man to the ring this morning doll." Tasha sighed having already guessed it was something related to him and also that neither of them would be honest about the reason why even though she was pretty sure she knew.
Jax was waving the bottle of Honey Jack as Tig went back to the apartments to let Hap know his old lady was there. Tasha smiled and made her way to the bar where Jax had a glass waiting for her. She took a sip and hummed in appreciation making Jax and Gem chuckle. She felt the familiar tingle she always did that signified the appearance of her old man and slowly turned to face him.
Tasha groaned at the bruising that was beginning to darken on his face and seeing as she knew CJ so well grabbed his shirt and pulled it up eyeing the bruises forming there too. Happy took his shirt out of her hands saying "Doesn't matter little girl, I deserved that." smiling as he leant down to press a kiss to her lips. He then moved away and took over the work that CJ had started and forgotten once he had her working on a plan for him.
Tasha sighed and walked over to her best friend. Tasha got suspicious when CJ quickly shut her notebook and smiled at her. Tasha gave her a pointed look at the state of her face before pulling her in for a hug "Thank you, you didn't have to go to bat for me but I appreciate it." she told her. "I'd do anything for you Tasha, even smack my dumbass brother about." she said as they both began to giggle.
Jax and Tig looked over at both the girls as they began to laugh "You sure picked a firecracker man." Jax told him with a wink. "I have no clue what you talking about" Tig denied as Jax walked away chuckling to himself.
Tasha left CJ telling her she had promised Gem she would help out in the office and CJ waved her away saying she had things to do anyway.
Smirking CJ made her way over to Jax. "I gotta head out, got some errands to run for Hap." she said with a wink. "Fucking finally." Jax said as he grabbed her hand and the pair of them left.
