Louisa woke up for the third time in 3 days slick with sweat and nauseous to boot. She groaned softly feeling her stomach roll viciously causing her to bolt out of bed and make a run to the bathroom.

She emptied what little she had in her stomach before curling into a ball on the cold tile.

She was still laid there when Opie made his way home. Figuring she had the stomach flu he picked her up cradling her sweaty body to his chest and placed her gently back on the bed. He gave her a chaste kiss on her forehead promising he was heading out to the store to get some things to help her get better.

Louisa was delirious when he returned mumbling all kinds of nonsense. Opie made her some soup and a hot honey and lemon taking it back to their room.

He laid next to her on the bed and pulled her up so she was flush against his chest and began to feed her the soup. Once she had finished it he wasn't surprised when she groaned and ran back to the bathroom.

Concern coated his features so he decided to call in the big guns. Grabbing his burner he dialled Tara. "Dr Knowles phone" she said by way of greeting. "Hey Tara, it's Opie" he said. "What Can I do for ya Ope?" she asked with a clear smile. "Lou's ill, can't keep anything down, seems to be delirious and she's burning up." he rattled off the symptoms he was aware of.

Tara sighed before offering her expert opinion. "Probably the stomach flu Ope, make sure she stays hydrated and gets plenty of rest and give Tylenol for the fever. She should be fine in a couple of days but if she gets any worse give me a call and I'll pop over."

Opie closed the call with a thanks and made his way to the kitchen to follow Tara's advice and bring Louisa some water and tablets.

He made sure she swallowed the pills and was settled back in bed before he went back to the lounge and switched on the TV, settling on a show about motorcycle repair.

He must have fallen asleep watching the TV and was concerned that he hadn't heard anything from Louisa so made his way to their bedroom to check on her. He panicked slightly when she wasn't in the bed but soon noticed the light on in the bathroom, he assumed she had thrown up again and had passed out next to the toilet, too weak to call for him.

Smiling to himself he opened the door and called her name. He began to worry when she didn't respond. Walking over to her he place one arm under her head and feeling the heat pouring off of her decided he wasn't going to wait. He raced out to her car and placed her on the backseat quickly dialling Tara. "Lou's bad Tara, temperature through the roof and she's not responding." he shouted panicking.

"Ok get her to St Thomas, I'll meet you there." she promised her husbands best friend. Tara felt a sense of dread knowing Louisa was the light of Opie's life.

Tara arrived the same time as Opie and she quickly ran inside to request help and a trolley as she turned to see a limp looking Louisa in Opie's arms. The large man placed her on the trolley with tears falling and gave a desperate look to Tara that said everything without actually saying a thing.

Tara moved her quickly to a private room, leaving Opie in the waiting area. She knew he wasn't going to be alone for long and that Jax and the rest of the club would be there in minutes.

Tara turned her attention to Louisa and set up an IV for fluids and another for Tylenol and took some bloods for cultures, knowing that she couldn't prescribe anything stronger until she knew what she was dealing with. She wouldn't admit it to Opie but she was concerned that she was still unresponsive but was hopeful the fluids and Tylenol would work soon.

Tara headed out to the waiting area to give Opie and the club an update. "She's still out and I am waiting on blood results to see what it is we are dealing with but you are welcome to sit with her." she said with a smile.

Opie followed Tara back to the room Louisa was in and sat next to her holding her hand mumbling to her. Tara left to give them some privacy even if Louisa wasn't exactly awake.

Tara got the results back and smiled at what she was seeing and headed towards Louisa's room to check on her. She smiled bigger when she knocked on the door and the familiar voice of her friend called for her to come in.

"Well Louisa you gave us quite the scare." Tara said still smiling. "I know, I'm sorry." she responded. "I have your results and am clear with what was causing all this drama." Tara continued. "Come on T, don't keep us waiting." Louisa said smiling at her man who had not left her side.

"OK, OK, You're pregnant"
