Manny had taken residence on the roof of Teller- Morrow stating to anyone who would listen that that was now her prime spot for meditation.

She had just finished with what had become a daily ritual when she made her way into the clubhouse. She was looking around for her brother and in her absent-mindedness walked into what she assumed was a wall. She was proven wrong when she came face to face with the clear blue eyes of Alex Trager. She knew that he was known as Tig but for some reason unknown to her she was unable to refer to him by such a childish name and instead stuck with his given name, much to his annoyance.

"Whatcha doing doll?" he asked her with a soft smile. "Have you seen Robert, I mean Bobby around?" Tig chuckled at her calling Bobby by his actual name, knowing that no one had had the balls to do that for years. "He's out on club business doll, can Tiggy help ya?" he asked. Manny grimaced at the easy use of his nickname before shaking her head "It doesn't matter, I'll catch him later."

Tig watched as she walked away, shoulders down clearly upset about something. "Doll you sure I can't help ya?" he asked. "Yes Alex, I'm quite sure. I only wanted to ask him if he had any of his "special" muffins laying around." Tig's eye lit up at the thought of one of Bobby's muffins and he closed the distance between them wrapping an arm round her shoulders and led her towards the kitchen. "I happen to know where Elvis hides his stash." he told her with a wink.

Openly smiling now Manny quickened her pace, eager to fuel the relaxation she felt after meditation. Once in the kitchen Tig moved a few boxes around and leaned to the back of the cupboard next to the large fridge and pulled out a tupperware box hidden deep in the recesses.

He opened it up and found only crumbs of leftover muffins, but there was a baggie of fragrant green ready for his next batch. Manny smiled and picked up the baggie and inhaling the sweet smell and turned to face Tig. "Thank you Alex, you may leave. I have work to do." she told the man ushering him out of the door.

Muffins were her brothers speciality, hers was brownies. She searched all the cupboards and smiled to herself when she found all the ingredients she needed. She was humming to herself as she mixed the batter and included the special additive, she poured the gooey mixture into a pan and put it in the oven ensuring she set a timer. She then went back to the bar and asked the prospect for a cup of coffee, she savoured the taste of the java as she waited patiently for her treats to cook.

She sat at the bar lost in her own world, thinking about how much she missed the reservation when she was brought back to the present by the sound of the timer. Smiling wide she hurried to the kitchen and using a cloth took the tray out of the oven. She used a knife to score round the edges so she could tip the brownies onto a cooling rack.

Deciding she didn't want to wait any longer she picked the knife back up and began to cut the brownies into squares. With the last ones she slipped and ran the knife through her pointer finger, screaming like a banshee as blood flowed freely.

Tig having heard her scream came running into the kitchen, gun drawn and relaxed when he realised what had happened. "Shit doll, thought someone was murdering you." he said through a chuckle. "It's not funny Alex, it really hurts." she said letting a few tears fall down her face as the blood continued to pump from the slice in her finger. "Manny, you're a doctor for fucks sake, you know how to deal with this." Tig told her still amused that she could patch CJ after a go in the ring but could apply basic first aid to herself after a kitchen mishap.

When he realised she wasn't going to move and was bleeding more than he liked her grabbed the cloth and wrapped it round her finger trying not to chuckle when she groaned at the pain. He wrapped his arm round her trembling shoulders and walked her over to the sink where he gestured for her to rinse the wound under some water so he could better see what he was dealing with.

Tig wasn't great at wounds, that's why they had Chibs but he was pretty sure he could deal with a simple finger slice. He aided her to rinse and he sucked in a breath when he saw the wound was deeper than he first thought. He guided her back out to the bar and sat her at a stool as he moved to grab the first aid kit.

He chuckled as she shivered at the sight of it "You Doctor's really are the worst patients aren't ya?" Manny pinned him with a glare that had him laughing harder. "Don't worry your pretty head doll, a couple of steri strips and a bandage to cover and you'll be good as new in no time." he said smiling.

Manny whimpered as he put the final touches on the bandage that he was pretty damn proud of and he walked away only to return a few seconds later with a couple of the untainted brownies. "Pain relief doll, Doctor's orders." he said as he finally got her to chuckle.
