Gemma was grumbling to herself about how much food these overgrown children ate and how she already needed to head out and restock but she didn't have the time.
With Echo laid up and Chris having the kids her usual go to was out of the question. Sienna was busy sorting orders for the coffee shop and Manny was off somewhere meditating no doubt so that left Tasha or CJ.
She knew full well that Tasha would spout some bullshit about being needed for "club business" so that left CJ. Sighing she walked over to the fiery redhead and placed the list on the counter in front of her. CJ looked over to her "What the fuck is this?" she asked with a roll of her eyes. "Shopping list sweetheart, club needs supplies and you are the only one available." Gemma told her handing over a large wad of cash.
CJ sighed knowing she didn't really have a choice and got up and headed out to her car as she heard Gemma yell "Take the prospect sweetheart." CJ groaned, she hated shopping and it was only going to get worse with the prospect who she was sure wanted to piss his pants any time she was near.
Not a word was said between her and the prospect as she opened her car and went to get in when she heard Jax "Where you off to darlin'?" CJ sighed and gritted out "Shopping" whilst waving the list in his face. Jax gave his signature smirk as he told the prospect "Stand down, I got this one." before mounting his bike.
CJ smirked whilst thinking this wouldn't be so bad now that she had the gorgeous blond with her instead of the wet rag that was the prospect.
Within a few minutes they had pulled up at the store and Jax grabbed a cart and they made their way in. CJ went over the list grabbing whatever she spotted when she spotted it and throwing it in. She had just grabbed a huge bag of flour and thrown it in the general direction of the cart when she heard Jax begin to cough and yell "Hey!" CJ turned to face him and busted out laughing when she saw he was covered with the powdery white flour.
Jax levelled her with a devious smirk "Game on bitch." With the cart forgotten they each made their way round the store selecting items for maximum damage. CJ grabbed a carton of eggs and some milk whilst Jax had picked up some syrup and some mustard.
CJ opened the eggs and used them as missiles to try and stop Jax reaching her and was cackling when each one hit its mark and shattered on his leather. When she ran out of eggs she opened the milk and aimed it the flash of blond she was able to see.
She was finally out and was spinning round desperately trying to see where the hell Jax had disappeared to. Without warning she heard the squelch of wet stuff leaving a container and was suddenly met with a disgusting combination of mustard and syrup dripping down her her hair and face.
CJ swiped the shit off of her face and turned so she could look at Jax. They both busted out laughing at the state of each other. Through their laughter a security guard arrived and gave them a speech that had them laughing harder "You 2 are far too grown to be behaving like a bunch of school kids, now get the hell out of my store and do not think about coming back!"
They continued laughing and wiping at their really messy clothes as they left the store. CJ was about to get back in her car when she suddenly stopped laughing. Jax looked at her concerned.
"Your Ma is going to fucking kill us." she said.
