"What do you think?"
I was literally jumping on the inside, "wow t-thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it."
"Of course. It would be great if you could come by tomorrow for a personal interview and to talk over the contract. How does 10 a.m. sound?"
"Sounds great! I'll be there!"
"Great. I'll see you soon then."
Hanging up I started screaming out of excitement, "oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!!"
All my life, I aspired to work for Moonshine Ent. It was one of the best companies in the country. It ranged from singers to actors to writers. They would also sponsor so many businesses. Being part of such a thing was a dream come true.

9:50 a.m.
I sat in the entrance room of Moonshine Ent. Soon a young woman approached me, "Miss Lim, please come with me," she took me through a big door and into an office. I sat down in front of a desk, the seat on the other side empty, "Mr. Kim will be with you shortly," the woman gave me a sweet smile before leaving the room.
Shortly after an older man entered, "ah, Lim Seyeon. You look different from what I imagined."
"Hello," I stood up to greet him, "i-is that a bad thing?"
He shook his head, sitting in the spot in front of me, "not at all," he smiled, "okay, so this is not an actual interview, more like a cordiality. You'll be working as a junior lyricist along with our main team of composers and editors here. If you work well together your lyrics might actually be used pretty soon. You are very talented."
I smiled shyly at the compliment, "thank you."
"My secretary will take you on a small tour of the company, she's waiting for you outside."
I got up to leave, but I turned back as he spoke again, "by the way, Miss Lim I wanted to ask, who is the person singing in your demo?"
"Oh... I couldn't find anyone to do it, so I did it myself..."
He raised his eyebrows, "really? And you just want to work as a lyricist? Interesting."
I smiled nervously.
What does that mean? Did I mess up already? I knew I should've saved some money and paid someone else to sing...
"Miss Lim?"
I looked up at him, snapping out of my useless thoughts, "yes?"
"The tour."
"Huh? Oh! O-of course. Thank you."
I exited the room and was quickly greeted by the same lady that walked me in.
She took me all over the company, showing me everything from recording studios, to practice rooms, even where the closest vending machines were.
The tour was coming to an end. We walked down a long hallway leading back to the building's cafeteria.
I spun around, still getting used to my surroundings.
I shook my head and continued following my guide who was now ordering two coffees at the bar. She came over handing me one, and we sat down in one of the small round tables.
"Thank you for the coffee," I said. "No problem," she replied, "so, do you have any questions?"
I sighed, "many." She laughed at my remark, "it's scary starting in such a big company. If you ever feel overwhelmed you can talk to me," she gave me a sweet smile.
"Thanks, Hyerin."

I decided to take one last stroll before leaving, curious about the hallways I hadn't explored yet.
I gazed at the posters on the walls as I walked, recognizing some of my favorite artists.
Kim Doyoung! I screamed internally when I saw a poster of his latest single "Day Dream". He was one of my favorite Moonshine artists, after C&C of course.
C&C (씨앤드씨), standing for "Cookies and Cream", was my favorite girl group. I had about every single album they had ever released. I was their number one fan since pre-debut. I dreamed of meeting them one day, and by working here, I just might.
I took out my phone to take a photo of Doyoung's poster.
Naeun has to see this!
As I snapped the picture I noticed someone oddly familiar walk by me.
I turned around, not sure if I could believe my eyes, but I only got a glimpse as he passed me.
Wait. Don't I know him?
His eyes were glued to his phone, not paying any attention to the people around him. And soon, all I could see was his back.
It couldn't be... no, I'm sure I just imagined it. It wouldn't be the first time anyway. But what if...
A weird feeling overtook my body, I wasn't sure what I was doing, but I had to make sure. I stood still for a moment before gathering my strength to speak,
"E-excuse me..."
