The first week at my new job quickly went by. Surprisingly enough, I wasn't that overwhelmed with being in such a new environment. For that, I had to thank Mark and Hyerin. We quickly became close and I couldn't be happier.

Everything seemed to be falling in the right place, but I couldn't help but feel like something was going to rattle up my calmness.

I sat with Hyerin in the cafeteria for lunch. We talked about nonsense and she kept venting about how annoying Mr. Kim was.

"...and then he called me in for the fourth time cause his coffee wasn't 'sweet enough'," she used air quotes for that. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't laugh!" She exclaimed, "it's like he has nothing to do but order me around for stupid shit," she rolled her eyes.

"Don't say that," I nudged her shoulder, "I'm sure he's got something to do, or else they wouldn't pay him..."

She ticked her head to the side, "actually, now that you say that. I heard him talking on the phone with someone the other day... something about him scouting new talent... pfft! He doesn't even get out of his office. I bet he's taking credit for someone else's hard work."

"Wow, you really don't like him, do you?"

She looked at me with a dead expression, "what do you think?"

We laughed and kept eating. Soon after I saw another friendly face pop into the cafe. My stomach suddenly felt tight.

What's this? Hah. I can't believe it, I'm letting myself crush over some guy who doesn't even remember me.

I shook my head as he saw me, quickly averting my gaze, and that's when I noticed he wasn't alone; with him were another four guys.

Wow, how's everyone here so freaking handsome?!

I looked at Hyerin, who was shamelessly checking them out, and scoffed.

"Seyeon," Mark waved his hand at me from across the room.

"You know him?" Hyerin asked and I nodded. The group made their way to the table where we sat.

"Hey," I smiled.

"Hi," he smiled back, "can we sit here?"

I looked at Hyerin for permission and she just knotted her eyebrows in a "why are you even asking? Yes!" expression. At that I replied with a simple "sure".

"Is this the rest of the group?" I questioned, looking at the attractive bunch in front of me.

"Ah, yeah. Seyeon, meet the rest of System 5 Link: Taeyong, Yuta, Jungwoo, and Taeil," he introduced them. I couldn't stop my heart from fluttering like crazy when they smiled back at me. "Guys this is Seyeon, she's been helping me with my lyrics."

"Ah, so this is the famous Seyeon," said the white-haired one with a smirk, earning a weird look from Mark and a couple laughs from the others.

"Shut up, Yuta," said the one he introduced as Taeyong. "Mhm!" I felt an elbow hit me. "Oh! This is my friend Hyerin."

They all greeted each other and the guys started to eat their meals.

"Are you going to the company trip?" Said the blonde one, he was so tall and so cute, his hair looked like a little casket on his head.

"Jungwoo right?" I asked and he nodded, "what company trip?"

He opened his eyes, shocked that I didn't know about it, "how do you not know about that? It's the most fun part of the summer!"

"It is?"

"He's exaggerating," said the only one of them that hadn't spoken yet, "it's okay, but not a lot of people go cause they're busy with their own schedules."

"Still, it's a lot of fun," said Jungwoo again, "last year we stayed near the beach. It was great," he smiled like a kid at the nice memory.

"So is it the same beach this year?" I asked.

Hyerin shook her head, "no, it's going to be on some mountain. I was gonna tell you about it, I just found out this morning."

"That sounds fun, I've never been to a mountain in the summer," I stated.

"You should go," said Mark while taking a sip of his drink. "Will you be there?" I asked him, causing him to look around at his friends almost wanting them to answer instead. "I don't kno-"

"Hell yeah!" Interrupted Yuta, "we're debuting in the fall so this would probably be our last chance to go on a trip like this."

"Oh, so if you're a debuted artist you don't get to go?"

Yuta shook his head, "it's not that. It's just that once we debut we'll be really busy promoting and won't have time for this kind of thing. That's why Taeil said that not a lot of people go."

"I see..."

Hyerin tapped my side again. I turned to her, but her eyes were fixed on someone else, her mouth slightly opened. Her eyes sparkled intensely at who had walked into the room.

"Kim Doyoung!" she whispered-screamed.

Wow, I didn't know she was Doyoung's fan too. Her and Naeun would get along just fine.

I turned my head to the direction she was looking in and a whispered "wow" accidentally left my lips.

What I didn't expect was for him to look back. Showering me with the beautiful sight that was his smile.
