(Carter's POV)
"What would you like?" The cashier asked.I looked at her name tag that read Georgina.
"A caramel frappachino," I said.
"Is that all?" Georgina asked. I nodded my head. "That will be ready in a minute."
After I got my Starbucks frappachino I grabbed a seat at the corner table and pulled out my phone. After a few minutes someone sat across from me. When I looked up I saw a man that looked strangely similar to Jimmy Casket. The only difference was this man had blue eyes instead of red.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hi," he said. "My names Johnny Ghost, Paranormal Investigator Extraordinaire."
"I'm Carter," I said, sinking in my seat from his loud voice.
"I know. I came here to talk about something, something important," Johnny whispered.
"Oh, um, okay," I said but it sounded more like a question.
"The deal you made with Jimmy Casket," Johnny started. "That's a very serious matter. I would suggest you don't turn him into the police or else, well, let's just say you'll regret it."
"H-How do you know about the deal," I whispered.
Johnny didn't answer.
"Are you bothering that girl?" Georgina called to Johnny, noticing my pale face.
"Don't worry, I was just leaving," Johnny said but never moved his gaze from mine. He lowered his voice, "Remember, don't tell anyone. Got it?"
"Uh y-yeah," I said.
"Are you alright?" Georgina asked, sliding into the seat Johnny just vacated.
"Yeah," I lied.
"Looked like he scared you," Georgina pointed out. "Im sure I could've taken him."
She flexed her muscles causing me to almost spit out my frappachino. Georgina had wavy auburn hair and large, pale blue eyes. Her skin was tan and she had dimples when she smiled.
"He ain't got nothing on this." Georgina brushed some invisible dust off her shoulder.
"Not sure, he looked pretty tough," I said.
"Naw! He looked a little scrawny," Georgina denied. "Your names Carter, right?"
"Yep," I chirped.
"I'm Georgina! Well, obviously you know that. It says it right on my name tag!" She laughed at her own stupidity.
Georgina was loud, spunky, and a little bit weird. I liked her.
"Nice necklace," I said pointing to the silver chain around her neck.
"Thanks! I got it half off from target! That store is like the best! Besides Aeropostale. I like that one too! I like pretty much any store," Georgina said. "You don't talk much. I like you. We're going to be friends! I can tell!"
"You can tell?" I asked.
"Yeah, it's like a sixth sense," Georgina said. "So, do you have a boyfriend?"
She wiggled her eyebrows and we both burst out laughing.
"Yeah, I have a boyfriend back in Texas," I said. "Where I'm from."
"Is he cute? What's his name?" She questioned.
"Yeah, he's cute," I mumbled. "His names Joey."
