(Carter's POV)
I jumped off the wall and did a backflip, landing in the pit.

"This is awesome!" I exclaimed.

I quickly crawled out of the pit that was filled with foam cubes. A ball whizzed past my head and bounced off the trampoline. I grabbed it and jumped up, dunking the ball right into the hoop.

"This is so much fun!" Georgina exclaimed.

After the funeral Johnny drove me home for a change of clothes. I decided to wear black denim shorts and a white ruffled tank top. We met up with the others before heading to sky zone. I also invited two other friends from Texas that were in town for the funeral, Daiki and Jocelyn.

I did a back handspring and landed right on my butt.

"How are you so good at doing all those tricks and stuff?" Anthony asked.

"I used to do gymnastics," I said.

"And she was the captain of our high school cheer team," Jocelyn added.

I hopped back onto my feet and looked around. The room was big, floors were completely covered in trampolines and there were slanted trampolines as the walls. At the side was a pit filled with blue and orange foam cubes and there was a basketball net. Everybody was jumping around with foam balls flying around from our recent game of dodgeball.

A ball went flying and hit me in the head. When I looked around I saw Ghost smirking at me.

"It's on!" I declared.

I grabbed two balls and chucked them at his face.

"Dodgeball!" He shouted.

In a matter of seconds, everything was complete bedlam. Everyone was grabbing the dodgeballs and throwing them in random directions.

"We have to close up now," the worker said, interrupting our fun.

"Just a wittle bit longer," Sally begged.

"I'm sorry but we already stayed open late because it's her birthday," he said, gesturing to me. "But now we really do have to close up."

We all groaned but listened to orders. Everybody got into their cars and drove off to their destinations. The only ones left were Johnny Ghost and I as we stood in the parking lot.

"Why don't we walk home," Johnny suggested. "Jimmy has been dying to take control all day. I can come get the car later."

"Okay," I agreed.

I watched as he started blinking a lot then his eyes changed to the color red. We walked down the sidewalk in the glow of the streetlights.

"I had fun today," I said.

"Yeah, it was way funner than I thought it'd be," Jimmy said.

"Funner isn't a word," I corrected.

"It's a lot funner than you!" He exclaimed.

"I'm fun!" I defended.

"I know, I was just kidding," Jimmy teased, poking my stomach. "And besides, Johnny said its a real word."

"Well Johnny isn't very good at English then," I laughed. "Funner isn't a word, and neither is funnest."

"But funner is the funnest word in the world!" Jimmy whined.

"Have you ever even been to school?" I asked.

"I'm a murderer, what do you think?" Jimmy asked. "But Johnny went to school and they had English classe-"
