(Carter's POV)
A girl poked her head in while watching the movie. She had black hair that was bluntly cut just below her ears and a small face. She wore dark jeans, a dark red shirt and black boots with a knife clearly sticking out of it. The girl smiled wide and sat on the couch next to Jimmy."Hey there, Christina!" Jimmy chirped.
"Who's this?" The Christina girl asked. "Is it your next kill? Can I have the honors?"
She pulled out her knife and jumped to her feet. I shrunk back in the couch, my stomach twisting in knots. Jimmy grabbed onto her wrist that held the knife.
"We aren't killing her," he stated.
"Am I dreaming? Is this a parallel universe?" She joked. "The infamous Jimmy Casket not killing someone. Have you gone soft?"
"I haven't gone soft!" Jimmy denied. "I'm still the same insane guy! Watch this!"
Jimmy threw his knife across the room, hitting a picture frame in the process.
"Jimmy!" I scolded. "You cut the picture in half!"
I examined the photo that was now ruined. I could feel tears forming in my eyes. The rip went right through my mom, dad, and Jessie, but I still sat to the side in one piece.
"Sorry," Jimmy mumbled.
"See! You've turned into a softy," Christina said.
"Who are you anyways?" I asked, getting slightly annoyed by her sudden visit.
"Jimmy hasn't told you about me? I'm a world renowned muderer," Christina bragged. "We met when I tried to kill him, he was just started out on killing people. He fought back and gained respect in my book. Now we're acquaintances."
"That doesn't explain what you're doing in my house," I said.
"You never asked that," she countered.
I hobbled over to the couch, slightly dragging my injured foot. I didn't like Christina, I'm not sure why, but I wanted to punch her.
"I'm going to get some water," I grumbled.
I limped into the kitchen and reached into the cupboard. When I straightened up, I saw Jimmy smiling at me by the fridge.
"Would you like some peanut butter with that jelly?" He asked.
"What are you talking about? This is water," I said, holding up he plastic bottle.
"Would you like some peanut butter with that jelly?" Jimmy repeated. "You're jealous."
"I am not!" I exclaimed. "Why would I be jealous?"
"You tell me," Jimmy said.
"I'm not jealous," I denied.
He poked my stomach and started laughing. "You're totally jealous."
"You're deranged," I said.
"I know," he bragged. "But just admit it, you're green with envy. You looked like you wanted to deck her."
"I am not envious! You're just really annoying," I mumbled, limping past him and back to the couch.
"Hey, Casket!" Christina called. "I'm playing the movie!"
Jimmy ran back into the room and plopped down next to her on the other couch. I glared at them for a moment before turning half of my attention to the screen. Every few moments I turned to glance at them before looking back at the creepy doll in the movie.
"Why did you pick this, Jimmy?!" I exclaimed.
I held up a pillow in front of me and buried my face into it. Feeling tears forming in the corner of my eyes, I knew I'd have trouble sleeping that night.
