I back up, slowly taking out my grappling gun. He stands up and tries to come near me, knowing that's the reason I'm still hurt.

"Y/N I--" I cut him off by shooting my gun from the railing.

"Don't, I already know." I say softly, as I disappear from the situation. I drop down and quickly run out from his view.

I go back to the room we were in, seeing how nothing's changed. I start walking until I groan, holding my side feeling sharp pains. I then grip a table and feel the pain go away, I carefully stand up and wait to see if it's over. I should get the sample and kill this virus, I crack my neck and kick open a door I never entered.

I keep walking noticing that it's too quiet, I stop and close my eyes, I take a good breath and focus on sounds. Although I hear nothing, it's weird. I keep walking through doors trying to get a hint of where I should be heading. Since I've been only upstairs to this place, then that means--I spot an elevator. Didn't know this castle had a downstairs, I laugh and quickly press the call button.

I see it flow down gracefully, I walk in and press the 1st floor. I lean onto the elevator wall and let the machine take me down. I close my eyes and hold onto the side that was just in pain, I put pressure onto the wound and feel a sharp pain again. I wince and open my eyes, the egg must be hatching. I stomp my foot and cross my arms, damn I should've taken the pill.

This cult, how'd did it come to be, honestly they don't have the resources to obtain modern technology. Unless if they were talking to other countries, it would make sense then. Their language is unique, I know it's Spanish, but I don't think I've ever heard this type. I can't figure out what they're saying, and I bet they feel the same way about English too. I wonder how some of the leaders learned English, Saddler? No, maybe Salalzar?

I grunt and put my hands on my head, hitting it playfully and gently. Why am I thinking of this? Stop, and focus...get your mind off of Leon it's causing you to think about languages. I flutter my eyes and see the elevator finally arrive. It dings and I slowly walk out, seeing the building decay a bit. How old is this place? Someone must've started the cult before the virus, but how did they get members in the first place?

I look at the stairs seeing blood trail up, I pull out one of my guns and slowly walk up. Seeing the pools of blood get bigger. I then see a peep hole in a wall, I ignore the blood and look through it seeing Ashley in a closed room. I knock on the wall seeing her frightened to approach.

"Ashley it's Y/N, can you hear me?" I watch as she eases a bit from  he sudden scare.

"Yeah, Y/N I don't know how to escape, they're everywhere." I then see a yellow light shining in her eyes, it was low to the ground.

"Is there a light by you?" She nods and looks over towards it. "What is it?"

"A lamp, one of the old ones with the flame and everything." I then call her to look back at me.

"Grab it and use it as a weapon, you can throw it from a far distance." She quickly runs and picks it up, holding it tight. "Good, now you can fight them. I can't do anything."

"Okay, I'll be going." I nod and watch her back off, I do the same as well. I look around my area seeing nobody.

Maybe the blood doesn't go anywhere, this hall is closed off. I turn around slowly going down the steps, until I hear someone running away. I look over the stair rail and aim my pistol seeing red, Ada? A cult leader catches up with her and grabs her arm, I then shoot his arm, seeing the leader react.

"Run!" I shout, seeing her stunned. I shoot over and over, trying to make this bastard die.
