Chapter Twenty-One

(Leon's Point of View)

I slowly sit up, cracking my fingers. Ashley runs up worried, I tell her I'm fine, and she works up the courage to sit down next. I quickly control the machine and kill the parasite inside of her, seeing her pains seep through her skin. She sits up and I place my arm on the head rest, seeing her speechless.

"You okay?" I ask, she barely nods, she continues to stare at me until she suddenly hugs me. I lightly pat her back , looking over to Y/N resting. "Come on, let's get her." I back away while Ashley jumps off of the seat. I pick Y/N up a bit, seeing her hand raise to my face, her eyes still a dark red. I lift her up and feel her faint breathing on my neck, her hand then trails up to my cheek.

"Leon..." She quietly states, I then feel her hand slide down to my cheek, towards my neck. "I'm hungry..." I then notice her start to get close to my neck, I place her down and get behind the lit panel. I start the process, watching her not move at all, I finish and see all the eggs gone. I carry her as we make our way outside, I then notice something is wrong. I carefully set Y/N down, and tell Ashley to watch over her. 

(Y/N Point of View)

I mumble words, and hear Ashley start repeating my name. I slowly flutter my eyes, and see her worried. I look around and feel my hunger craving gone, Ashley then starts to fill me in. 

"He went up, he said something didn't feel right." I nod and get up slowly. Ashley then stops me, pushing my back onto the wall, I grunt out of pain. "Leon took out the eggs, we're all safe now. You're not okay to fight, I can tell you're recovering."

"Leon is...in trouble, he'll die if I don't help him. Saddler wants him gone, he'll do anything." I cough and try to open my eyes, seeing Ashley look up at where he went. 

"I can't let you, not like this." I open my eyes slightly and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Ashley I'm a bad person, I've done terrible things for my job. Saving you was the 1% of good, please let me help him."  She sighs and looks back at the tall tower.

"He took the elevator up." I nod at her, she stands up and moves out of my way. I stand up and make my way towards the big red button, I slam my fist on it and watch it come down. "Be careful Y/N." I turn to her, seeing how she truly cares about me, I smile and pat her head.

"Always." I then turn my head back tot he elevator, it finally landed on the ground. I step onto it and salute to Ashley, she weakly smiles and does it back. I pres the button to go up, hearing loud banging.

I arrive seeing a spider-like beast with Leon, they fight each other as my eyes scroll to Saddler's robe. I gasp and realize, he's turned into that. I look and see a bridge I could cut off, I run to the ladder jumping on it. I climb and quickly go over to Leon's side, Saddler notices me and tries to swing. I drop to the ground on my chest and look up, Leon looks at me and then down at the bridge.

He fights off Saddler distracting him, I get up and go over to the control panel. I watch Leon turn to me, signalling to push it. I look at the panel and then at him, worried he won't make it, he then signals to push it again. I shake my head and watch Saddler almost hit him, I panic and press the button. I look seeing the bridge close slow, I see a lever and increase the speed as it goes down.

Leon starts running up the steps, I look down seeing the bridge completely against the wall. I curse and slide to the ledge stopping as Leon jumps. My hand falls down, feeling Leon's hand catch it just in time.
