I watch Wesker pace the room, I stand up tall only looking straight. As he passes by my eyes I notice his hand placed on his chin. I then notice him stop in front of me, I then look to my left and right, seeing others afraid.
I step up and watch as he stares at me, I roll my eyes and tilt my head. I wave my arms to the other men and women around me.
"Stop playing around, I know you need me for another mission." He smirks and lets his hand to a swoosh motion, meaning take them away. Before we talk, he wants us to be alone. "I just finished my objective, I should be in my house."
"I understand that Y/N, but this one is very important...to me. I need you to finish this last mission, and I'll let you go." I snap my neck towards him as he walks around me.
"What do you mean? Let me go? I know that you're not stating that I-"
"Leave my agency, and do what you please? Yes, that's exactly what I mean." He stops until he's next to me, I shake my head not quite understanding any of this. "I am moving to bigger and better projects, and I don't want you to follow along."
"Why is that? You're acting like I didn't do your dirty work for years." He chuckles and pats my shoulder.
"If I need you then I'll ask for you, but these projects I'm doing...would kill you. Since you and well...my other agent our my prizes--I can't let you both go to waste." He crosses him arms, and signals his guards to open the doors.
"Wesker, if your explaining all of this--then what is this mission about?" He starts walking out, motioning me to follow. I walk behind him, not wanting to get any closer.
"Y/N your mission is to retrieve the presidents daughter, although your main objective is to retrieve a virus from there as well." We then stop at his office, we both walk in but I stop right before the guest chairs.
"You're telling me, that I have to get the presidents daughter?! That is a federal crime, Wesker I can't do that!" He nods and places a grappling gun on his desk pad.
"Exactly why it isn't your main objective, now the helicopter will be leaving here early tomorrow. Go back to your room and prepare, and don't forget to train." I scoff and sarcastically wave my arms above my hips.
"Wesker--" His eyes flash a bright red, he holds up his hand in front of me.
"I won't ask you twice, now do your job and leave." I quickly turn around and leave, hearing the doors slam behind me. I sigh and walk to the different departments, seeing other agents look at me with envy.
I quickly place my finger onto the scanner, after I watch the clear transparent glass door slide over. I walk in and press a button to close it, I scan my finger again to let the gray door to cover the glass. I lock the room and turn around, I look over to my bed and drop onto it. I release my ponytail, and shake the tightness out of my hair.
I let my hands drop and stare down, as I focus onto my hands I notice the same cut on my palm. It's faded, but it'll never fully heal after the many years. I'm just glad that my head healed, I rather my head be alright. I let my head fly up with a long inhale, I then prop my hands upon my knees, allowing me to stand up.
I walk over to my metal locker, I grab my chest holsters and guns. I place the guns into their spots, buckling the lock. I drop it onto the table and slowly look back to the locker, I stare at only one thing. The black mask I first saw back then, I let my finger slowly touch the fabric of the mask. I grab it and start to remember why I started wearing it on missions, it was for my own protection. I start touching the eye part of the mask, noticing that if you got close enough to me, you'll be able to see the color reflect.
I guess it's time to use this mask again, and not for good purposes.
