Chapter Fifteen

I watch his claw pop up, making my bones chill. I quickly shoot the claw twice, seeing it break off. The leader falls, making me watch the blood surround his body, until he disappears. I turn around seeing Ada completely gone from my sight. 

I slide my gun into the left holster and scoff, I tilt my head and look at the direction she came in. I take once step and see a large statue of a man start shifting. I confusingly stare at it until I see it start to move toward me. What the fuck? I start running the down the long hall, seeing the stature knock down many pillars.

I watch the door ahead of me start going down, I widen my eyes. It's going to lock me in, they're trying to lock me in! I look back seeing the statue on my tail, I close my eyes and slide past the door. When I open my eyes I watch as one hair strand flows above me, making me notice how close I am to dying. 

The door slam down as I stop myself, I look and hear a big crash from the room I was in. I then hear footsteps behind me, I stand up and watch the man walk in. I couldn't identify him, we haven't met before. By the look of his body language, he's not here for a good reason, he slowly starts to clap.

"Good job, you passed. Now what happened to your mask?" I cross my arms, raising a brow.

"Have we met?" He stops clapping and slowly lowers his arms.

"No, but I know about you. It seems I'm supposed to be watching you." I look at him, seeing a scar on his body. 

"You're working with Saddler? Why?" He clicks his tongue and puts a finger up, waving it in a slow motion. 

"Don't go there, you're not in any right either. No wonder they told me not to speak to you long." He slowly reaches to grab something, I see a blade.

"Long?" I slide out my grapple and stick it to a light on the wall, I click and swing my legs up. I watch as he jumps trying to cut me. I make it onto the other side, I open the door seeing a bridge broken. I stop almost falling, I look back seeing him catching up with me. It's too far, and I have nothing to hook my gun to. 

I curse under my breath and watch the man come closer. I duck seeing him trying to slice me, I spin and round-house kick him. His blade flies over him, I run and cartwheel over to catch it. Once I do I turn around holding it combat style, I then use my fingers to lure him to me. He smirks and starts throwing hands. 

I block his punch until he nudges his knee into my stomach. I groan and he uppercut punches me. I lay down, feeling the same when I fought Saddler. Something...it isn't right about him, he's not normal. He walks over and tries to stomp on me, I roll away and slice his leg. Before I could run he grabs my hair, taking the knife and holding me by the neck. 

I use my left arm and close my fist, I swing it behind me hitting his nose. He backs away and I look over the bridge seeing Ada. She runs to her ledge and quickly kneels down to add a hand.

"Y/N over here!" I nod and run, I jump feeling her hand grab me. She helps me up and points to the door she came from. 

We run down stairs and go into a caved dock, I turn and grab a plank. I slide it through and watch the door bang from the other side. I inhale and exhale rapidly feeling my lungs collapse, I hold my chest and kneel. She puts her hand on my shoulder, I look to see her other hand with one pill. I look up and she nods towards me to take it. I take it and chuck it tot he back of my throat. Feeling a bit better, she then releases her hand from me.
