*Taeil's POV*The clock that was placed on the bedside table started ringing loudly. Normally I would just hit it and fall asleep again but today I decided to be on time for once. I had to keep this job, to be honest I needed this job and the fact that I wasn't fired yet was a miracle. I scrubbed my eyes and with my weak hands I grabbed the alarm, turning it off, looking at the time. My eyelids slightly closed as my eyesight was still not used to the sunlight. I read the numbers that were written on the alarm clock.
"6.00 o'clock".
I whispered quietly to myself as I let out a sigh of frustration.
"Why do I have to wake up so early?"
I asked while stretching, but remembering that my boss threatened to fire me if I was late one more time answered my question.
I got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom. Entering it I took a quick look at myself in the mirror and opened the water faucet. The faint, weak light bulb that was placed at the bathroom's ceiling was flickering, making the hazy room look more tasteless than it already was. I put my hands under the faucet and splashed the water on my face harshly, finally waking up fully. After brushing my teeth and styling my thin, deep brown hair with some gel, I walked towards the closet and wore my work clothes. A plain, vanilla t-shirt matched with a pair of black jeans. Before leaving, I looked at the watch, that was now standing quietly next to my messy bed.
"7.00 o'clock."
A smile appeared on my face as for once I was on time, and maybe even earlier than I should be. I grabbed my jacked, my keys and left for work.
--
I started heading towards the bus stop. Today I had enough time to buy breakfast and coffee. Usually I would not have time to eat anything for breakfast and today's overturn was a huge advantage. I smiled again and continued walking. The weather was chilly and the atmosphere humid, as yesterday night rained heavily. But at least the rain had stopped.
As I arrived at the bus stop I placed my hand in one of the pockets of my jacket to take out my phone. But there was nothing in the left pocked. I gulped harshly and searched the other one.
"Shit".
I sweared internally and tried to remember whether I took my phone with me or not.
"Fuck".
I said, recalling that my phone was charging in the kitchen.
The bus was coming but I couldn't leave without my phone, so I started running back to my apartment.
--I opened my apartment's door and tried to catch my breath for a couple of seconds. My heart was beating rapidly, and it was hard to breathe. The moment I stabilized my breathing, I quickly grabbed my phone, unplugged the charger and left for work once again.
This day started good but it slowly turned into a disaster. I was already late for work so what's the worse that could happen? While sprinting I looked at my phone and it was 7.30 am. Blasphemies escaped quietly from my mouth and I stopped running only when I came across a red light. I breathed out harshly and tried to relax. My hands landed on my thighs and my whole body collapsed. It was only then that I examined my surroundings. Next to me there was a guy, definitely younger than me that was holding a beautiful bouquet of blue roses. He was smiling brightly and his fluffy brown hair decorated perfectly his soft features.
"He definitely has a better day than me".
I thought to myself and subconsciously admired the boy.
