"Smile!"

And Taeyong lifted the corners of his lips. Was this a smile? No. But it was something close to it, a happy-looking grimace. He stood there again, in front of the cameras smiling, as if he actually felt happy. He was a model, even if he was a child, or better a teenager. The career he could choose, or actually had to choose was this. Why was he so...selfish? So self-centered? Even though everything was so easy and simple for him he still complained...

How dared he?

"More feeling!" The man behind the camera shouted.

His lips trembled but he continued smiling. He had to. It was his job after all.

How could his life be...if he wasn't always surrounded by cameras?

Even the thought of it felt beautiful. He could be free, without any fetters and boundaries. He took his eyes off the camera and stared blankly at the back of the room. He swore he saw a beautiful scenery, one that didn't exist in the real world, one that made him feel free.

But thoughts like this aren't meant to stay alive.

"Here Taeyong! Here!" The man shouted and he remembered again where he was.

After what felt like hours, the photoshoot ended. His mother stood next to him and touched his shoulder.

"You did well son. Let's go back home." She announced and both of them headed outside of the studio, entering a car.
