*Jaehyun's POV*

The alarm I had set on my phone last night started ringing quietly, playing a soft, calm melody almost next to my ear. I peacefully opened my eyes and smiled, turning it off. Still under the sheets I turned my whole body around and faced my wife, who was still sleeping on her side of the bed. A small smile appeared on my lips and I gently placed a kiss on her forehead, not wanting to wake her up yet. Although as I kissed her, her eyelids trembled and she slightly opened her eyes.

"What time is it?"

She asked me with a sleepy voice.

"6.20 babe."

I answered and stroked blandly her hair.

"Sleep again."

I told her and got up from the bed.

"Don't go..."

She said with her eyes closing, as she tried to reach out for me and prevent me from getting up.

"I can't babe... I have to get ready for work."

I whispered silently and headed to the bathroom.

--

Today was a very important day. I had an interview in the morning and I had to look perfect. I washed my face and brushed my teeth.

"Now the hair.."

I put some gel in my hands and started styling it. I moved all of my hair back till it was completely still, leaving my forehead exposed. Only one tuft of hair was falling harmoniously on the front, which I didn't mind, so I let it be.

I exhaled strongly, trying to calm myself down and looked in the mirror.

"I have to get this job."

This job was very important for me, the salary it was offering was higher than any other job I could apply to and if I was employed by this hotel, I could quit my night job as a waiter.

I exited the bathroom and headed back to my room. My wife was still sleeping so I tried to make as less noise as I could. An inaudible yawn left my mouth as I opened the closet. I didn't have any formal clothing to wear, that's why I was going to rent a suit from a clothes shop. Hence why I woke up so early. The current time was "6.40." at least I was early enough. Better earlier than late. I headed to the kitchen and started making coffee. The machine was kinda loud, but at least my family didn't wake up...that's what I thought until...

"Daddy!"

My daughter shouted and run happily towards me.

"Sunshine!"

I announced and bent over to hug her.

"Why did you wake up so early? The school isn't going to start anytime soon."

"I wanted to see you daddy..."

She said apologetically and played with her hands.

I was so happy I finally got to saw her. I rarely had the chance to as I was always working early in the morning and returned home very late at night. But I did this for her, and her mother, I had to do my best for my sunshine.

"I'm glad I saw you today Eunhee...however promise me that you won't wake up so early again."

I scolded her playfully.

"Yes dad!"

She answered cheerfully.

"Good."
