Ellie was ecstatic.

1. She is now going to her crush's house
2. She's now walking beside her crush.
3. But she's hungry.

As they were walking down the pathway, Ellie felt her stomach grumble and looked at Julio in shame. Julio raised an eyebrow and glanced at her uninterestedly.

Ellie sheepishly rubbed her stomach and looked over to a cafe, Ciel's Cafe, a place that she and friends go to after school.

Julio sighed and looked at his watch. "Thank god we still have time." Upon looking at the cafe, his stomach grumbled.

Julio flushed in embarrassment as Ellie was cackling in laughter and she tried to muffle it as soon as Julio looked at her embarrassed.

"Come on, come on," Ellie exclaimed, grabbing a hold on Julio's arm. "Let's go eat!"

Julio had this mindset, that he wouldn't get so close to someone he only knew for a few weeks. Their personalities clash, with Ellie's bubbly self and Julio's cold heart.

Who knew that Julio would be trying to hide such a big and warm smile.

No one will ever know.

They ran across the street, Ellie and Julio narrowly dodging the cars as the drivers were waving their fists and honking at them.

Ellie and Julio quickly stepped onto the other side of the road, looking at each other for a moment, until Julio slaps Ellie on the arm harshly.

"Hey! Why did you pull me across the road! You psycho-" Julio scolded her relentlessly while Ellie was still laughing her butt off.

An old lady looked pass them and smiled thoughtfully.

"Ah, young love." The old lady said as Ellie and Julio calmed down and walked into the cafe.

The cafe was small a dainty looking, old wooden bookshelves filled with multiple literature books as decoration, and their was an old man sitting by the counter, immersed in his newspaper.

Ellie walked to one of the tables and gestures Julio to sit down, which he did and fished out his phone.

Ellie looked at Julio and pondered for a moment.

What was it like to have a perfect life like his?

How was he so entrancing for her to like him more than the other boys she had crushes on?

How is she going to break the ice further for him to warm up to her more?

"Hey, Julio." Ellie called out to him. Julio looked up from his phone and set it down on the table. "Yeah?"

Ellie fiddled with her fingers. "What's your family like?" She asked him. Julio placed a finger under his chin.

"Like a normal family, I guess." He replied softly, leaning back on his chair, a small creaking sound heard from the chair.

"Oh," Ellie muttered. "Mine isn't really that normal."

Julio perked up at her choice of words, 'isn't really that normal'. As far as he was concerned, a girl like this mostly had a normal childhood.

She was chasing boys back and forth like a normal girl.

She was going to classes in school like a normal girl.

She has a group of friends like a normal girl.

What makes her 'not normal' in that sense?

Julio felt like a 10 tons of weight was being put on his shoulders. He didn't want to try further to hurt her feelings,
