"The assignment for the next month so I expect good quality work. Let me explain one more time..." Ellie already spaced out, resting her chin on the palm of her hand, her eyes already tempted to close any second.

She could hear the students murmuring in a soft spoken voice, she could here her seat mate beside her speaking to someone else beside him, she could hear his throat grumbling as he spoke.

Ellie brushed a strand of her hair away from her and sighed. It reminded her of someone she knew but she couldn't really pinpoint it.

It's like she completely forgotten that person's existence.

She felt it lingering at the back of her mind.

But she couldn't really remember it.

Was she forgetting someone?

Shaking her head, she looked at her watch and realised it was far past the time that she got dismissed. Feeling a bump on her shoulder, she looked to the side.

"Ellie, aren't you coming?"

Ah, it was him.

Her seat mate was Jess's boyfriend, Axel Reiss, a kind boy who took some classes the same as Ellie since he was going to be a businessman working in his father's company.

It's safe to say that he was filthy rich, one of the previous reasons why Jess liked him, but she had grown accustomed to his sweet  smile, gentle attitude and his smarts.

Just like someone she vaguely remembers.

She smiled and packed her notebooks and her laptop in her laptop bag, swinging it over her shoulder, almost forgetting she had an expensive laptop in her bag.

"Yeah, let's go."

They went out of the auditorium after their lesson, reaching the campus's cafeteria. The cafeteria wasn't usually packed with people, some students prefer to eat out at places such as, Subway, McDonalds or Burger King.

Ellie and her friends couldn't really care less. They often ate the cafeteria's food, absorbing the food almost immediately, savoring it between bites.

The cafeteria was rather big, she noted that it looked like a large coffee shop, with each table rounded and spared everyone privacy.

There were booths for couples which didn't wanted to be disturbed, and she'll often she Axel and Jess be there with a hot cuppa, reveling in each other's presence.

She found it cute, that the once bitchy Jess was now one of her good friends. She still remembers when they were roommates they were still iffy towards each other, but they soon warmed up due to their similar interests.

It was honestly unexpected.

Clearing her mind from her past thoughts, she nudged Axel and pointed to the direction of where Jess was waiting, and Ellie thought she really was pretty.
