Julio walked out the classroom to his next class, and boy, was Ellie excited about her newfound crush.

Walking down the cream coloured halls, Ellie smelt a whiff of rose scented perfume. She found it familiar and walked over to her locker.

Her eyes were quickly met with Rebecca, a rather tall and pretty girl with curly brown hair and brown eyes, her off the shoulder yellow crop top with her short denim booty shorts .

"Hey, Becca." Ellie called out, her large hands twisting the lock of her pale green locker.

Rebecca looked to her, her eyes looking downwards at her small frame. "Woah," She said as she leaned on her locker. "What makes you so happy today?"

Ellie reached into the depths of her locker and grabbed her maths textbooks and her pink coloured notebook. "I think I like another guy now."

"What." Rebecca gaped.

Ellie shrugged. "Don't 'what' me, I'm getting desperate okay? Don't flex on me with your college boyfriend."

Rebecca ran her long fingers through it soft, wavy hair. "Make sure you pursue him normally, the last time you had a crush you-"

"Did extravagant things, yes, I know." Ellie sighed.

"So, this time, be more subtle, and go with the flow. Don't keep pursuing him if he looks like he's not interested." Rebecca advised while she sassed her finger at Ellie, her painted newly painted nails catching her eye.

"Yeah, yeah, oh, by the way did you do your nails?" Ellie said, reaching her hand to look at her sky blue gradient fingernails.

Rebecca smirked. "Oh, yes! I got it painted at Johan's aunt's shop- wait, this isn't about me!"

Ellie cackled with laughter as Rebecca fumed. "Parker! You better stop!" The brunette called out to Ellie who was scurrying away to her maths class, already late.

The shorter shuffled away with a piece sign help in the air smugly.

"Ugh that girl." Rebecca frowned. "Make sure, you go slow you dimwit! No extravagant things you hear me!"

"Yes, mom!" Ellie snickered, already entering her maths class at the end of the corridor.

Rebecca huffed and fiddled with her keychain on her pencilbox which had the name "Harry" written on it with black bold letters.

"Hey, what's the matter with Ellie?" A boy, 6'1, said to Rebecca, easily towering over her model figure.

"She's going to pursue another guy again. I told her to go slow." Rebecca replied, flipping her long hair over her shoulder.

"Seriously?" The teen said, combing his dirty blond hair through his fingers.

"Yeah, not that you mind though, Andrew." Rebecca shot back. Andrew shrugged and adjusted the Adidas backpack strap on his shoulders and waved at Rebecca.

"Going to Chemistry now, Ms. Ruby is going to kill me when she tell her I was late."

Rebecca scoffed. "Why? Because you and your boyfriend were having a 'moment' after your theatre?"

Andrew scrunched his nose and stuck his tongue out childishly.

"Screw you."

"I would be delighted, but you're not into girls."

Ellie was nervous.

The feeling in her stomach never washed away ever since she got home after school. It was now 4:56pm, and she was patiently waiting for Julio to call her on her laptop.
