"I messed up."
"How did you mess up?"
"I ain't telling yer sorry ass."
"Now, that's just rude."
An early bright morning was not very fun nor appealing to the foreigner Japanese boy we know as Jin Takeshi who was sulking all day in his class with the lecturer staring right at him during the lecture.
Now, of course, our dear protagonist and idiot in all aspects of life certainly did not know what was going on because she had entered the class late and had no idea what was going on.
Huffing, Ellie leaned back against her chair and balanced her mechanical pencil at the space in between her mouth and her nose, puckering her lips comically as she took a glimpse at her seatmate.
Jin, sporting a white hoodie with no print, rolled his sleeves up to his elbows, showing the beaded bracelet he had on his wrist. He did not wear jeans however, and wore denim knee length pants which he paired with his usual sneakers, and his hair was cut short to a normal boy styled haircut with the fringe short and the hair on the back of neck cut really short compared to his usual shaggy hair.
They both had classes together, a combined class since Ellie was also majoring in Business for her cafe she was going to open and Jin who was going to work in a company which his father works in, hoping to take his place as the executive director.
Ellie glanced at Jin, her mind racing. It was weird for him to be so sullen and depressed, because usually he'll be flirting around with girls and to them he would be a bundle of joy.
He clicked perfectly with Ellie and her friends, although, Jess was a little uncomfortable around him due to his previous advances, the two were friends just fine. Axel was very welcoming and even shared a conversation with him that the two girls did not understand, because,
Guy talk.
The strawberry blonde girl sighed and wrote something on a piece of paper, the piece of paper being the crumpled up receipt she kept from the restaurant she went to by herself because Jess was at their dorms stuck with doing her research.
She scribbled down something, her lead of the mechanical pencil cracking due to how hard she was writing it because the marks won't show, and opted for a pen instead, dumping her mechanical pencil back in her grey pencil case.
Folding it nicely, she threw it hastily to her seatmate, who was trying so hard to stay awake during the lesson and noticed the piece of receipt paper by his arm.
He looked at Ellie who was typing away to jot down notes in her laptop and shrugged. He peered inside, opening it while still trying to listen to the professor.
'If you wanna talk about it, you can sit with us after this. We're having Subway.'
Jin took a look at, Ellie who had her eyes still fixated on the screen. He only took one second to look at her, but it was good enough since he already knew his answer, because they were friends after all.
