Nobodies POV
It's daytime. In the living room, Klaus is being creative working on an abstract painting on an easel. Rebekah enters.
"What took you so long?" Klaus ask
"Alaric didn't want to hand over the stake. [Shows him a stake.] Luckily I'm quite the charmer." Rebekah says
"That's it?" Klaus ask
"The last of the white oak stakes that can kill us. Do you want to do the honors or shall I?" Rebekah ask
Klaus puts the paintbrush down, takes the stake from Rebekah and throws it into the flames in the fireplace. The flames flare up around the stake.
"Well that's that then." Rebekah says "Pack your bags, we're leaving." Klaus says "Today?" Rebekah ask
"Why not? There's nothing keeping us here. We'll grab the doppelgänger, mom and be off by sunset." Klaus says "But tonight is the decade dance." Rebekah says "So?" Klaus ask
"So, I'm head of the committee, we have to go." Rebekah says "I'm not going to any dance." Klaus says
"Caroline will be there." Rebekah says "That means nothing to me." Klaus says "Please, I have big plans for tonight. Just go for me." Rebekah ask
"Okay, fine. One last hoorah." Klaus says "One last hoorah, Nik." Rebekah says
....
"You want me to go to a school dance." Daenerys ask "come on mum, if Bekah is dragging me to it then I'm taking you with me." Klaus says
"Fine but you're choosing my outfit, my body absolutely hates me right now, everything hurts." Daenerys says "that's the pregnancy mum." Klaus says
"How do you know." Daenerys ask
Klaus looks down shyly, "I read a few pregnancy books." Klaus says, Daenerys smiles, touched, "your the sweetest thing in the world you do know that." Daenerys says
She brings her son in for a hug, Klaus melts into her arms, happy.
....
Hours later.
The party is in full swing in the gym hall with lots of students dancing to the music, including Bonnie and Jamie. Caroline walks up to Matt who is restocking the drinks table with ice.
"Have I told you how amazingly awesome you are?" Caroline ask "Yeah, I'm one of the good ones, I know...Why the compliments, what else do you want?" Matt ask
"I know that you and Elena have been getting closer lately..." Caroline says "And your point is...?" Matt ask "One way or the other she is pretty much spoken for." Caroline says
"Elena is my friend, Caroline. I'm just looking out for her." Matt says "And I'm just looking out for you. Because sometimes the people who love her get caught in the crossfire." Caroline says
Matt spots Tyler greeting people in the crowd. "What's he doing here?" Matt ask
Caroline walks up to Tyler.
"Are you crazy? If Klaus sees you..." Caroline says "What's he gonna do? Draw you another picture?" Tyler ask
"Tyler, this isn't a joke!" Caroline yells "I can pretend I'm sired if I have to. But I'm not gonna hide while he's macking all over you." Tyler says
"Tyler, you do not need to be jealous of Klaus." Caroline says "I am jealous, but I'm also competitive. So hang on, I'm about to sweep you off your feet." Tyler says
