One of Those Nights

**Maggie's POV**

I can't tell if it's night or day. Ok well yes I can. No one has come to my room for at least three hours. So I'm assuming it's night. I just wanna get out of here. Why do I have to stuck in this hell hole? Why can't I make myself wake up?! This is stressing me out. Just then the door opens. It shuts lightly and there are footsteps coming closer to my bed.

"Hey Maggie I know you can't really hear me but I just wanted to talk to you." I hear and realize it's Shawn.

The bed slowly goes down as Shawn sits in the edge of the bed.

"Well here goes nothing. Umm well what I wanted to talk to you about is maybe some things you should know about me and also some other things I would like to talk about but I'll add that stuff later." Shawn says.

'I'm all ears.'

As Shawn starts telling me all this amazing stuff about him I just think of what he looks like while telling me. I can see him playing with his fingers and messing up his hair. Ugh do I miss his hair. As he talks more and more about his career in singing and his family it makes me wanna smile but I can't. He soon brings up his future.

"And I don't what's gunna happen to us after you figure out this case but I wanna stay with you. I don't care if you have to leave I will find any way to stay with you because...because I'm not losing you and I love you." He says and chokes up on the last part.

'Shawn that was amazing and I wanna stay with you to!'

Soon enough something like a nerve sparks in me and I can feel my hand move. I quickly move it towards Shawn and apparently he saw.

"Maggie! Are you waking up? Wake up!I know you can hear me!" He says leaning in towards my face.

"Oh my God." He says then quickly runs out the door.

Soon after a minute Shawn rushes in with another pair of feet behind him.

"Doc you have to believe me her hand moved trying to reach mind! C'mon can't any of these machines tell you what's going on?!" Shawn pleas to the doctor.

"Well it seems she has some brain activity going on. Which means she could be able to be waking up soon but it was a small movement so it's about half and half." I hear the doctor say.

"So if you had to estimate a time she would wake up what would you say?" Shawn asks the doctor.

"Oh, I would say about two to three weeks."

'Not in hell is it gunna be that long!'

"That long?! Doc I won't survive! Is there any way she could wake up by the end of the week?"

"Son, it's all up to her and what she wants her body to do. If she keeps these body movements going there's a good possibility that she might. Now as for you, you need to go back to room and rest you are gunna be released tomorrow."

"No! I'm staying here until my girl is all healed."

"I'm sorry but by what your doing it seems your fine. Now please go back to your room." The doctor says and I guess he starts running out.

I hear footsteps come near my bed then a hot breath near my ear.

"Stay strong baby I'm not leaving you." Shawn says then kisses the top of my head.

He soon departs from the bed and leaves shutting the door behind him. Soon after that well I just do nothing. There is really nothing you can do in coma. All you can do is wait.

**Shawn's POV**

She's gunna survive. I know it. I know she's gunna wake up. She just has to. Soon the doctor goes and puts me back in my room and leaves. I don't sleep I can tell you that. I go on my phone and look at all my social media. I see girls commenting on my latest pic of which Taylor took of me sleeping in the hospital bed with the huge scar near my eye going to my head.

'Shawn are you alright?!'
'I heard what happen hopefully Maggie will wake up!'
'Who did this to you?!'
'Stay strong Shawn!'

These were most of the comments that I saw while scrolling down. I am so thankful for all these girls caring about me and my girlfriend. I soon go on Twitter and tweet an update to my fans.

'Sitting here in the hospital. I get to leave tomorrow but Maggie hasn't woken up yet. I'm not leaving her side.'

I press send and my feed blows up like usual. I set my phone back on the counter and decide that I should at least try to sleep. But something just keeps me from sleeping. I don't know what it's doing but it's surely got me wide awake. I decide I need to talk a walk and get out of bed. I walk down the hallway not knowing where to go. I suddenly stop at a door and read the number out loud.

"247."

I walk in and realize that this is Jacob's room. I move over to the chair next to him and tap him awake.

"Jacob. Jake. Wake up." I say to him.

"Shawn what do you want? It's four in the morning." Jacob complains then sits up in bed.

"I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking of Maggie. Your lucky enough to have your girlfriend literally right next to you." I say and point to the bed next to him.

"I'm sorry bro. How is she doing by the way?"

"She still in that stage but she moved a little over a half hour ago. The doctor says she could wake up by the end of the week of she keeps her brain activity going. But if not two to three weeks max."

"Bro that's gotta suck. I'm sorry that this happened to you. I have no idea what to tell you. I've never been in this situation before."

"It's okay. I'm figuring things out little by little. It's just one of those nights that I can't sleep cause something important in my life happened. I hope you understand."

"Dude, I understand hundred percent. Hey, your welcome to come to my room anytime you wanna talk. I got your back." Jacob says and pats my back.

"Thanks man. I better go before the nurse finds out I'm gone." I say and stand up.

"See ya." Jacob says and turns over to face Mahogany.

I shut the door lightly and head back to my room. I get back and quickly get in bed and lay down. Like I told Jacob it's one of those nights.

Surprise another update! Also big news! I found out a schedule that I can use for updating. Everyday from now on I will be updating Monday and Thursday. Monday cause well everyone hates Monday's and I thought this would be something to look forward to. And Thursday's because what's after Thursday.....FRIDAY! So I thought this would be a nice way to actually make you guys happy. So have a great night/day/whatever time it is where you live!!💕💕
