You Tell Me

**Shawn's POV**

It's Friday. Maggie hasn't really made much process but now the doctors say she can hear us but can't respond. Well that's great news. I go into her room about every hour or so and I always eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner with her. Well, I eat it in her room but you know she can't eat.

I always talk to her and update her about things like Mahogany and Jacob. They recently got let out from the hospital and are now at the hotel. We have to hold back Magcon Orlando for now because of Maggie's injuries. We are told that all the fans are fine with it and so are the crew and Bart.

"Shawn!" Matt yelled as he opened my door and disturbed my thoughts.

"What?" I asked annoyed.

"It's Maggie." He says and I instantly get up and run.

Once I get into her room the machines are going nuts with the beeping sounds.

"What's wrong? What is happening?" I ask while there are doctors running around Maggie's hospital bed.

"She's having a caesar in her 'stage'. She is shaking like crazy. We're giving her medicine to calm her." The doctor said.

As I peak over his shoulder I see Maggie's hands shaking, her legs moving, and her face twitching. I try to run to her side to grab her hand but the doctor holds me back.

"Let me get to her! I wanna hold her! I need to be there right now with her!" I say loudly as the doctors are taking out stuff.

"Mr. Mendes we cannot except that."

"Please! Just let me. This could be the last time I see her."

"Go on...." The doctor mumbles and I thank him quickly.

I reach to her side and grab her hand. It's shaking like there's no tomorrow.

"Maggie calm down its alright it's me. C'mon Mags take it easy. I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."

"We're losing her!" I hear a nurse shout.

"No Maggie stay with me. I know you can hear me. C'mon Maggie fight. I'm losing you. Stay!"

"Somebody grab the oxygen mask!" Another shouts.

"No c'mon on Maggie. Maggie stay! Stay with me..." I yell with my voice cracking.

"We need to get her into surgery! Someone get this young man out of here!" The doctor yells.

A nurse comes over and grabs my shoulder.

"Sir, you need to leave." She says and helps me up.

I bend down and kiss Maggie, "Fight Mags...I...I love you."

I walk of the room angry and upset. Once the door closing I turn around regretting what I did. I pound on the door screaming and yelling.

"No! Get me back in there! I need to stay!" I yell trying to open the door.

Some of the guys try to pry me off the door but it's no use. I keep pounding until they finally yank me away. I sit on the chair with my hands in my face. I can't even look through the door window anymore. I lean back on the chair and just let the tears stream down my face. At this point I don't even care anymore what people think.

"ShawnI know that this is hard for you-" Nash started but I cut him off.

"Nash don't. You really don't know how this is. Your heart being crushed. You girlfriend dying. You don't even know if she is gunna wake up! So don't even start." I say flat.

Cam then comes over and talks to him.

"Nash you gotta remember he's under a lot of stress and he hasn't really left this place for a week. He's gunna be upset." Can whispered to him.

"Right." He whispers back, "Sorry Shawn. I was just trying to help. I understand if you don't really need a pep talk."

"It's okay. I'm just....just....nervous."

"Dude it's fine. We're gunna get some food want any?"

"Nah, I'm good but bring me a water?"

"Sure." Nash says and follows the boys to the cafeteria.

I just don't want anyone really interacting with me right now. I'm not in the mood. So many things are on my mind and I can't handle anything else. I just don't wanna anyone to hurt her or her feelings if she wakes up.

Soon enough the rest of the boys come back with food in there hands.

"Hey Shawn here's your water." Nash says and hands me my water.

I say a simple thank you and just go back to staring at the floor.

"We came as soon as we got the call. How is she?" I hear someone say and look up. It's everyone else.

"She still getting operated on." I mumble, "but the doctors and nurses haven't really been doing a fast procedure."

"Well that's stupid. I wanna know if my best friend is gunna live or not." Olivia says.

"Yeah exactly plus we can't finish the you know without her. It wouldn't be fair for her." Kristen adds.

"Plus we've held back Magcon Orlando another week. These doctors need to find out when she's gunna wake up or else. We can't go to Magcon Orlando." Taylor says.

"And we can't disappoint the fans. They'll be heartbroken." Jacob adds.

"Shut up! Don't be blaming this on her. She didn't know that she was gunna get into a coma or even a stage before it. She didn't predict the car getting tipped. This whole thing is not her fault!" I yell at them while getting up and walking over towards them angrily.

"Shawn we weren't blaming her. We would never do that." Carter says.

"Shawn you need to calm down. We know that this thing is stressful enough for you but you don't need to-" Mahogany starts but I cut her off instantly.

"Calm down? Calm down?! How the fuck can I calm down?! For all I know is that Maggie could be dead and the doctors are still operating on her."

"Quit thinking that the worst possible thing could happen to her because it can't! Your overthinking this because you've barely slept, ate, and bathed." Cam says.

"Imagine if that was Kristen. Now you would be just like me. Wouldn't you. So don't tell me to not think!-" I start raging but was interrupted by the doctor.

"You may go see her two by two. No more." He says then walks away.

I look at everyone and they were startled as well.

"Shawn go by yourself. We can wait. Plus it's your girlfriend." Anne says and I nod my head in agreement.

I run to her room and stop by the doorway and look at her. She's absolutely beautiful. I shut the door behind me and take my usual place right to the side of her. Once I kneel down I look over at the machines. Her heart is still beating but one machine keeps flashing a brain. Once I look back down at Maggie I see her shift a bit.

"Maggie. Maggie.....are you awake?" I ask whispering in her ear.

Her eyes open quick and a smirk spreads across her face.

"You tell me."
