Chapter 14

"Wake up, Alex!" Jenn yells. I groan and roll over.
"Seriously Alex! Get up! We're going out with the girls today, remember?" She asks.
"Five more minutes!" I groan.
"Alex Caylen, don't make me drag you out of bed! I will do it!"
"No you wouldn't." I mumble.
Honestly, I didn't think she would. That is, until I feel her hands grab my ankles. My eyes fly open. "No Jenn! I'm awa-"
She drags me out of bed. I land on the floor and groan again. Jenn stands over me, smiling. "Good morning, sunshine." She says.
"I hate you," I say, getting up. All Jenn does is laugh.
"Sure you do. Now hurry up and get dressed. Andrea, Lauren, and Arden are picking us up for breakfast. Oh, and I borrowed some of your clothes. Just sayin." She turns and walks out of the room, closing the door behind her. I groan and roll over.
I get dressed in ripped jeans with a brown belt, a cream colored crop top, and tan boots with a slight heel. I go in the bathroom and go over my hair with the hair straightener. Then I put in a white beanie. Now rushing, I brush my teeth. Just as I'm finishing, I hear someone walk into my room.
"Alex!"
I peek my head out of the bathroom. Jenn and three girls who I assume to be Andrea, Lauren, and Arden are standing in my bedroom. All of them are smiling.
"Hey!" I say excitedly. I walk out of the bathroom and grab my purse. Jenn introduces us.
"Alex, this is Andrea, Lauren, and Arden. They live with me. Guys, this is Alex. Jc's daughter."
I smile and wave, slightly awkward. Andrea laughs.
"Oh good grief!" She says. "We don't bite!" With that, they pull my into one big group hug. I'm in the middle and the rest of them are crushing me.
"Guys-" I say, barely able to breath. "Can you... let me go?"
They comply, laughing. "Let's go!" Arden says. "I'm hungry! Let's go!"
"Whooo!" Andrea, Arden, and Jenn run off. Me and Lauren laugh and follow them. I tell Lauren that I'm gonna tell the guys bye and she nods.
I peek my head into Jc's room. "Hey, I'm about to leave with the girls."
Jc nods and gets out of bed. He hugs me and asks, "You got your phone?" I nod. "Good. Call me if you need anything. And have fun!"
I smile and nod. "Well, of course!"
"Love ya, kiddo."
"Love you, too." I head out of his room and peek my head into the rest of the guys rooms to tell them bye. All except for Sam. I stand outside of his door nervously, before peeking my head in.
"Sam?" I say. But he's not there. Must be downstairs. So that's exactly where I go. The girls are at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for me.
"Alex! Hurry up! We're hungry!" Jenn whines. I laugh and practically run down the stairs. That is, until Sam jumps out from the side and scares the living shit out of me.
"AHHH!" I scream, putting my hand over my chest. While the girls are dying laughing, I whack Sam's arm. "I hate you!"
"No you don't, babe." He says, pulling me into a hug. "Hates too strong a word. You could never hate me. You can strongly dislike me, but you can't hate me. I forbid it."
I crinkle my nose at him and sigh. "You forbid it?"
He chuckles and pecks the tip of my nose. "Yep." Then he leans down and kisses my lips. I melt into the kiss. Sam...
That's when we are reminded of the current audience. "Salex is real!" Andrea yells. "I knew it!" The girls start yelling about how adorable we are.
Sam pulls back and sighs. "I guess I better let you go, then."
"Okay," I say. "See you later?"
"Yeah," he says. He pecks my lips one last time and heads upstairs. "Have fun!"
"Will do!" I yell back. Then I turn to face the girls. "Let's go."
We head out the door and pile into the car. Next stop is IHOP. But of course. Where else would we go for breakfast? When we get inside a waitress leads us to our tables, and takes our drink orders. As she leaves, all the girls stare at me. It kinda freaks me out.
"What?" I ask nervously.
"Well, are you going to willingly tell us about what's going on between you and Sam, or are we gonna have to torture you?" Lauren asks. I know she's joking by the look in her eyes, but her voice when she said it was creepy.
The girls stare at me and I sigh reluctantly. "Fine," I say. I tell them abut the "bonding" day I had with Sam, and our date last night. They're all practically on the edge of their seats. And even though Jenn already knows, she's listening like she's never heard the story before. Somewhere in the middle of the story, our waitress takes our orders and brings us our food. By the time I finish, we're almost done eating.
"Awww!" They say, when I finish. I blush and look down. I literally just met three of these girls about n hour and a half ago, yet I'm here spilling my "romance" with Sam. Not that I really mind though. After all, I think I'm probably going to be spending a lot of time with them. I'm gonna need an escape from the guys sometimes....
"You two are adorable!" Arden says.
"Thanks," I say, probably blushing more now.
"Look!" Jenn says. "She's blushing!"
The girls chime in with another "aww" and I groan. "Jeez." I mutter. "You guys in any relationships?"
Lauren nods. "I have a boyfriend."
At the same time, Arden and Jenn say, "Single Pringles!" I laugh, then look to Andrea.
"Just out of a relationship," she says.
"Yeah," Lauren says. "Her and Kian broke up about a month ago."
I about choke on my drink. "You and Kian?!"
Andrea nods. "Yeah.
I'm shocked. I mean, in a way it makes sense. Kian passing up a pretty girl like Andrea? Can't imagine that.
We finish up and pay for our meals. Then we head back out to the car.
"Where to now, ladies?!" Lauren asks.
"The mall!" They all scream. I can't help but laugh. The way they all say a lot of the same stuff is hilarious.
"Let's do this!" Lauren screams. Then we're off. The radio is blasting and we're singing every song. Until an unfamiliar one comes on. The voice is so familiar but so hard to place....
"Who is this?" I ask, completely confused. The girls gape at me.
"You mean to tell me, you don't know who this is?!" Arden yells.
I hesitate to answer. I feel like I should know this. "Um, he sounds familiar..."
"It's RICKY DILLION!!!" Jenn yells. "You know, that guy we watched Mean Girls with last night?"
Oh my god! Ricky never told me he sang. This is awesome! I pull out my phone and shoot him a text.

To: Ricky Manaj
I'm in the car with the girls listening to Nobody! Why didn't you tell me you sing?!

Almost instantly he responds.

Oopsies! Well now you know!

"We're here, people!" Lauren yells. We all pile out of the car. Then we practically run into the mall.
"Where to first?" Arden asks.
Next thing I know, I'm being dragged on my first official girl shopping spree.

Almost four hours and $1,000 later, we plop down at a table in the food court, dropping all of our bags. My arms are so tired right now. But who cares? I've learned, that I am a shopping addict.
"Food," Jenn says. "We need food."
"Agreed," I say. We get up and was over to the Chinese food place. After we order and get our food, we sit in complete silence until all the food has disappeared. Which wasn't really long... Maybe five minutes?
I'm the last one done. And I thought I was a pig! These guys are worse than I am! Oh, well. We decide to go back to their house and do a shopping haul video for Lauren's channel. Then, Andrea said she wanted her and the girls to give me a makeover on her channel because apparently they have a surprise for me later. Something to "get dressed up for". One can only wonder.
When we get to their house, Lauren pulls out her camera and has us model all of our new outfits and stuff. Needless to say, it was hilarious. We were "strutting" for the camera. Gotta love it.
So now, I'm sitting on one of their bar stools as Lauren, Jenn, Andrea, and Arden set up all of the stuff they want to do my makeover with. I could care less about the makeover; I just want to know what the surprise is.
"So, uh, guys?" I say.
"Yeah?" Arden says.
"What's going on tonight?"
They all look at me and laugh.
"We're not gonna tell you!" Jenn says. "It's a surprise!"
I pout my lip. "Okay..." I wonder what these girls are up to.

One makeover later, I'm standing in a short black dress that comes just past my butt, a leather jacket, and black spike heels. My hair is curled, and my face is covered in makeup. Neutral, with the exception of the smokey eye. The girls are talking about what a good job they did, and how sexy I look. Really, I'm just shocked. Like, damn! Who the hell is the girl in the mirror? And what did she do with me? I do have to admit, I like it. A lot.
"So?" Andrea asks. "You like?"
"Nope." I say, plopping on the couch like it was no big deal.
"What?!" She says. They all look upset. "Why not?"
"I love it!" I jump up and give them all hugs. "This is awesome!"
After our moment I ask, "So what are we doing?"
"Should we tell her?" Jenn asks. They nod. "We're going clubbing!"
My eyes grow wide. "You guys do realize that I'm only seventeen?!"
"Yeah," Arden says, slyly. "We know people to get you in."
"You down?" Andrea asks.
"Yeah," I say. "Let's go clubbing!"
I help them get ready, and soon we're heading out the door.
"Beware club!" Jenn yells. Then we all join her in saying, "HERE WE COME!"
